After five hours of continuous riding Nova was left one back and tailbone less and 3,000 AP richer. The woman was quick to figure out the system counted riding on the back of her male as embracing, giving her a generous 10 points per minute.

Harvey thankfully noticed Nova's antsy yet pained expression at the five hour mark and stopped their journey for the night. Carefully laying down and allowing the white-haired woman closer access to the ground, Nova was quick to slide off the saddle.

Nova waited patiently as Harvey laid down an animal hide for her to rest on. She watched as the male leopard hurried around to gather the materials for a fire, hoping to cook a simple meal for the both of them.

"Harvey honey, I'm resting my eyes for a bit. Wake me if you need me for something." Blond hair and a brilliant smile flashed in her peripheral vision as all she heard was a hum and the rustling of various items.

Truthfully Nova wasn't simply taking a nap, she was going to use her favorite function of the system, the roulette.

Nova learned quickly how to activate the system as well as its functions through thought alone, allowing her to keep her non-existent reputation as a sane person.

If her eyes were open right now Harvey would have said they were sparkling out of excitement as she pulled up the roulette and eagerly shouted 'start' in her mind.

A few moments later, a single tear fell from Nova's eye. Although the items she got weren't horrible they were still not a helpful book, guide, or skill. She had 1,500 AP left and her first three rolls left her with a few herbs, two crystals, and a few spices.

Nova mentally crossed her fingers as her whispered 'start' echoed in her mind, the tell-tale sound of clicking sounded, Nova could do nothing but watch the spinning wheel slowly come to a stop.

Book of Simple Recipes Vol. 1, although a good spin, Nova has never been one to cook willingly. But she'll save it for whichever of her future males would like to learn.

Things were looking up but only two more rolls left, she huffed a sigh as she repeated the process. Nova nearly cried as the wheel slowed to a stop.

Book of The Beast World, this was something she could use and would use. Nova was very pleased with the outcome of this roll, and she would definitely take the time to read it later.

'One more.' Her thoughts echoed quietly around her mindspace, she was anxious but wanted something that could be useful and maybe a skill she could use to protect herself.

The activation word kicked the wheel into motion, click, click, click, clack.

Skill Rune: Sleuth.

Sleuth? What does it do? Nova was confused; she knew what the word meant but how could that help her now.

'Skill rune description.' A blue screen popped up in front of her mind's eye.

Sleuth, an activation skill. Sleuth allows the user to see scent trails, with practice the user will be able to distinguish scents based on the people closest to the user. Once activated this skill has a time limit of 5 minutes and a cooldown of once a day activation.

'Ho... This skill might actually be useful after all.' Nova placed the engraved stone in her inventory knowing she needed to physically crush it in order to gain the skill.

Nova gasped before it melded into a low groan, the woman was forced out of her mindscape as large warm hands kneaded her back, careful not to wander too close to her rear.

"Harvey." Nova's voice came out in a purr resembling that of Harvey's large beast form, said beastman chuckled shakily, quickly rushing to explain his touch.
