It was another sunny day,
and I was on my normal pace.
Our eyes met at the hallway,
and a soft smile escaped your lips.
I managed the same awkward smile,
until I have reached that certain mile.
Never realized how these feelings of mine got deeper,
until our random conversations got frequent.
I am so close to figuring my feelings out,
but had to reflect on it before things go haywire.
Those 9 years gap had me thinking,
if this is real or just you infatuating.
or is it me who had been hallucinating.
I could tell something in me had awakened,
but sometimes, I had to be that rational one.
Don't know where these will take me,
but I am hoping, things will work for the best.
Just need to go on with the flow,
and maybe, at the end of the day,
we'll just go to that place,
which somewhere only we know.
