I watched you smile at her,
Gave her the best of both worlds.
I saw you wiped her tears,
And said the most comforting words.
You smiled and laughed with her,
Forgetting I am existing.
You kept her guard all day long,
While I tried to keep it all in.
Right then, I realized...
That I am nothing
But a speck of dust
Which you can shrug off any time.
A speck of dust,
A pinch of powder...
A bit of fluff,
A grain of sand...
I am only
But a small part of your life..
The only friend
That you have.
And she?
She's the love of your life.
The light in your darkest days.
Your world.
Now,
I give up.
Just like that speck of dust,
I will slowly get out of your sight.
