A/N: Hellos darlings!! Here I am with a new long Storie starring Alexia Putellas, I hope you like and, as always, I see you in the comments. Lots of love, A!!
ALEXIA'S POV
Match days always have a special energy, and today is no exception. We're playing at home, with all our fans cheering us on and against a rival that doesn't usually make things easy, Real Madrid. Yes, today is derby day and in my mind there is only one objective: to win.
I arrive at the stadium in my car a couple of hours before the game, as usual I am the first of my teammates to arrive, so I take my time to greet all the staff and our coach, who are already preparing everything for the game.
My teammates arrive and the dressing room is filling with that magic that fills all the derbys. There's a great atmosphere among everyone, and when we go out to warm up we can already see the first fans coming in, looking for their place in the stands.
Almost without realising it, it's time to go out, and just before we get into the tunnel, the mascots who will go out onto the pitch with us to listen to the anthem and take the official photo approach us. Next to me they place a girl, apparently the youngest of them all.
- Hello- I say, bending down a little to get closer to her- what's your name?
- Ada- she answers a little shyly.
- Well that's a beautiful name, my name is Alexia.
- I know, my mum says you're very pretty every time she sees you on TV.
- Oh, did she? - I ask surprised and a bit blushing.
- Yes, and you know what? When I grow up I want to be like you and score lots of goals.
- I'm sure you'll get it. Look, I have an idea. When the match is over, I'll look for you in the stands and I'll give you my shirt, what do you think?
- Really?
We can't talk much more because they immediately tell us to get ready to leave. Being the captain, I go out first, along with Ada, who's not able to erase the smile off her face. She wears two buns on top of her head that keep her brown hair in place.
Just as our hymn is playing it starts to rain, and in vain I try to protect Ada a little from the rain, putting my hands on her head as if they were an umbrella. When she notices this, she turns a little towards me and smiles, a gesture that I can't help but return.
The match goes by quite quickly, and the rain has no mercy on us. As in every derby, the tension on the pitch can be cut with a knife, but after a lot of fighting we manage to get the victory.
After the celebrating with the team and thanking the fans for joining us, I go to the bench, where I have my jacket and, remembering what I said to Ada earlier, I take off my shirt and put on my jacket to go searching for her.
It takes me a while to find her among all the people shouting my name and my teammates's, but as soon as I do, I go straight to her. As there are a lot of people, I talk to one of the security guys to let her off, well, her and the girl holding her hand.
When they are both on the pitch with me, I bend down to be at Ada's level and the first thing she does is give me a hug and congratulate me on the victory and the goal I scored. Although, honestly, today we owe the victory to Mapi and Patri, who have scored some great bangers.
- Here- I say, holding out my shirt- but this is part of a promise, OK? If one day you get to play here like you dream, I'll be there in the stands cheering you on, and when the match is over I'll go to the pitch and ask you for your shirt.
- But why would you want my jersey? You are the best player in the world.
- Because I know that when you play you will be better than me.
- Can I take a picture with you? - she asks a little shyly.
- Of course you can, beautiful.
The girl who accompanies her immediately takes out her mobile phone and we position ourselves for the photo, although if I'm honest I can only look at her. She's a bit shorter than me, she's wearing jeans and a T-shirt with my number on it, but what catches my attention is her red hair, which despite the rain, seems to shine with its own light.
When she notices that my eyes won't leave her chicks turn bright red, and I can't help but smile at the effect I have on her. Ada hugs me again before leaving with the redhead and leaving the field. The fans keep shouting my name so I walk over to the stands and sign all the items that are being passed to me.
On my way to the changing room I feel someone running up to me and when I turn around I see Mapi smiling like the Chesire cat.
- I'm so scared of that face- I say without wiping the smile that has been hanging from my lips for a while.
- And that smile? Don't tell me it's for having won the match because you don't believe it yourself.
- Can't I be happy or what?
- My God, who are you and what have you done with my best friend?
We both laugh and, although she's dying to say something else, Mapi doesn't ask any more questions knowing that I'm not going to answer. I don't even know what just happened, I've never felt so captivated by someone before. And for god shake, I don't even know what the redhead's name is.
