Chapter 15

He was startled when he see me. Not expecting anyone here I think.

"Sorry, young lady I hope I am not disturbing you. I didn't know anyone was there. "

"It's okay, you didn't disturb me." I said

He give me  his charming smile. Why do l feel like I saw him somewhere.

"If you don't mind may I have your name?" He asked in his deep voice.

"Laura"

"Laura, nice to meet you. What a beautiful lady like you is doing here rather than enjoying the party?" He asked curiously.

"Just enjoying the moon's beauty. What about you."

"As you heard,that I had a fight with my father because of some business issue, my mind is stressed so to calm myself I came here. By the my name  Nacho Mateo"

Damn it.

No wonder I felt like I saw him somewhere. He look so different with his grown hair. I have to leave before Massimo see's me with Nacho.

"Bye,enjoy the moonlight." I said. Turned in hurry to left the place. I entered the party hall and sit at my seat. I released a relief sign. Thank god Massimo didn't came.

As I look around, I saw many people enjoying the party and dancing. And the music changed which is "My heart will go on" from Titanic dad's favorite movie and favorite song. I remember whenever dad listen this music,he always use to tell me that,on his first date with my mom they watched this movie. At that time they were so young and beautiful couple who never know what there future holds.

I come out of my thoughts when I heard someone called me. It turn out to be Massimo. Standing behind me staring at me.

"What you need,Massimo?" I asked him.

"Would you like to dance with me?" He said.

Damn. Even if I reject I have to dance with him.

"Sure." I replied with forceful smile.

Massimo guide me to center of the dance floor. We started our dance.

Few minutes later.

"Laura, are you doing this on purpose. Stepping on my feet." He said while dangerously close to me. I turn my head. Not meeting his eyes. It's not my fault. I don't know how to dance since I was busy with taking care of dad.

"It's not like that. It's just the heels are uncomfortable to me. Can we stop now, I want to rest. I am tired. And sleepy. " I replied with fake yawn. I hope he agrees.

"You are right. You must be tired by sitting and dancing. Go with Domenico, he will take you to home."

I resist to scoff, I can feel the sarcasm in his talk. He lean to kiss my forehead. Bitch no. I turn my head towards Domenico who is coming towards us. I fastly walk towards him ignoring Massimo's deadly glare.

Domenico greeted me. Why is he not the male lead rather then Massimo. He so fine like a wine. He take me to the car.

He extended his hand to me. "Be careful Laura this place is slippery because of rain." Such a gentleman. I hold his hand sit in the car. I can finally sit in peace.
Domenico sit beside me. And the car started. I turn my eyes to the beautiful mansion again. When I turn I see Anna, standing there staring at me. I get goosebumps. I fell something is wrong.

And then I lost her sight.

I lay back to take a nap until we reach. After few minutes, I hear a loud voice which is shouting to someone. The next moment I waked up by Domenico. Saying we have to leave because car has a bomb which can be blast anytime. My blood gone cold. What.

Domenico helped me,hold my hand take me out of the car. As we ran far away from the car I heard a loud sound. Domenico bend me down and covered me protectively in his arm. We stay there for few minutes until it was pin drop silent. Fuck this shit happened really or am I dreaming.

Domenico released me and told me stay like that until he confirms everything is alright. He leaves some bodyguards with me, covered me in his coat.

I stay there stunned to speak anything. If we stay in that car for more few minutes we would be dead.

After few minutes Massimo came and now is checking on me.

"Are you alright? Do you have any injury? " He asked while checking at my body for injury.

"I am okay." I replied.

After that he take me to his car and told the driver to return with Domenico. Domenico talked to Massimo in Italian.
Saying this is Anna as plan. This bitch doesn't have any work Or not why is she trying to kill me it's not my or Laura's fault that her so called boyfriend get obsessed with Laura.

Domenico and I reached the mansion and told me to rest. As if I can now.

I remove my heels and lay on the bed. So many things happened today. First fight with Anna, second meeting Nacho earlier, third boom blast.

I think Massimo has to many work today. He deserves that for kidnapping and his bullshit obsession.

Tired and sleep took over me.

Good night dad.

Fuck.

Alfanso family are playing a dangerous game. Not only Anna is trying to kill Laura but also challenging Massimo's position if this continues on.

Mario also told to get rid of Laura. At that time I didn't give my opinion. But seeing the situation I think it's good for Massimo to let Laura go but who will tell this to him. If anyone did then that person will regret having voice.

Huh.

I don't know, what is Massimo is thinking now. Nowadays it's hard to read him. I know him since our diaper time. He was a playful person at start just like his twin brother Adriano. But everything slowly started to change when there training started. The training for taking the position of don. Adriano wanted that position meanwhile Massimo he didn't wanted that. But his dad saw Massimo is more potential then Adriano and is also first born.

When Adriano came to know this through the device he kept in his dad's office, he was very angry. He wanted that  position. He sacrificed many things for that. Massimo might don't know but i know. This chaos caused a wreck havoc on their relationship. Massimo didn't know the reason.

When his dad announced to everyone that Massimo is going to take his position, he didn't waste a minute and left. I remember that day very well like the scar on my heart.

I meet him on the hallway. I asked where he is going. He stopped but didn't turned back. And said he is leaving this home which never felt like a home since 10 years.

That was a the last time I saw him. I wish I could stop him but he was determined. After that Massimo asked me where is Adriano I told him everything. He panicked and left to search for his brother who he dearly loves. No matter what how much the world try two souls can't be seperated which are made up of each other. That the case here, Massimo and Adriano are like one soul in two body. They were very close to each other. Share the pain and happiness together. I thought everything will be back it was. But God I was wrong. When we came to know Adriano killed his own dad. This caused a big storm in Massimo's mind. We all tried to convince him it was not him until he himself called Massimo and mocked him saying how does it feel to see dad dead. This caused Massimo a big heartbreak.

No matter what happens Massimo always loved his father and Adriano. But now Adriano is not that list. He is in Massimo's enemy list.

From that day onwards Massimo was never the same.

When I heard about Laura's situation I thought he will back in his original form.

But it proved me wrong I don't think Massimo will change but I am pretty sure Laura will change in a worse way.
