Chapter 20

I am currently waiting for Laura, in the dinning room.

It's weird to see Laura like this. It's like someone else has possessed her body. Or did she forget her memories. That's why I asked an expert doctor about it. He said this is only possibly if they have serious injuries in the head, which is not in this case.

My thoughts interrupted when Laura entered the room. She just directly walk to the chair and set, started to eat.

I observe her while I started to eat. She then look around to eat something else. And she grabbed lobster. No fucking way.
I stand and walk toward her where she is sitting.

"What are you doing yo-" I grabbed her hand which is holding the lobster.

"What's wrong with you,Laura? Why are you acting like this. Is it one more act to free yourself from me?" I asked her in furious tone. Is she gone mad how can she even thought about eating lobster. Is she trying to attempt suicide.

"What's wrong with you I am just eating quietly?" Now my suspicious is grown more strong.

"Do you even know what are you doing, did you forget that you have allergic of lobster. If you eat you can die." With the last sentence she stop struggling against my hold.

I lean forward and hold her chin to make her look at me.

"What,don't tell me you forget this. Come on,Laura I am not stupid to believe that. Why are you acting like this?" I demanded her to answer me.

She didn't answer. I wanted to force her to tell me but I choice to not. I know all this kidnapping and mafia thing is hard for her, which is harming her mental health I think. And I don't want that. After five year's of searching, I found my lady. I am not going to lose her now. Not at all. Call me selfish prick Or bastard but I am not letting Laura away from me.

"Fine. Tomorrow evening you are coming with me to meet the doctor. I have to see your mental health. I think all this is hard for you ,especially the club incident."

She get up from the chair, walk towards me and directly looking into my eyes. With a fire in her eyes which looks like non extinguish. I want to extinguish that fire and make her mine. Her body. Her soul. And her heart.

"Then why don't you free me. You love me right." She said.

I hold her face and go close towards her almost our lips are touching of each other. And said.

"Cause, you are mine. And I give you one year chance to love me. If you don't love me then I will leave you alone."

We stay in silence with our lips touching. She didn't move and so did I. I wanted to kiss her but as I promise I will not touch her until she want.

Then she snap out and left the dinning room without completing her food, with her tinted red shade ears. I left the room too. Told one of the maid to give dinner to Laura at her room since she didn't eat the dinner.

I go towards the room where Dominico and Mario are waiting for me. I hope they bring me a good news.

"So, what is the update?" I asked without greeting. Dominico is the first one to answer.

"According to our spies. I believe Adriano is staying with Albergo family. And we all know how much that family hate us after that incident." He said.

I knew Adriano will go to him. Fucker. But I didn't expected that Albergo family will accept him.

"Massimo, we have to bring Adriano to our side or kill him. I know it's hard for you but-" I interrupted Mario.

"I don't care if he is dead or not. The only think I care about is from whose hand he will die,because he must die from my hand."

I said that with angry which overpower my pain of thinking my twin brother's death.

If only he didn't kill our dad and hated me for things I didn't do.

"Stop, Massimo. I know what he did which is unforgivable bu-" Dominico will never stop supporting Adriano. And I hate that. I left the room. I walk towards my room to sleep.

I step inside and lock my room. Take the wine bottle kept in the table to pour in the glass.

I don't know what I will do if Adriano is caught. Will I be able to kill him? No. Will I forgive him? No.

I close my eyes.

"Massimo, no matter what protect your brother and you too Adriano. No matter what never fight with each other. Promise me." My mother said.

"Yes mom." My and Adriano both said with bright smile, while hugging our mom. We were just 10 years old.

I am sorry mom we broke our promise. I wish it never happened. If mother was still alive, Adriano would never be like this. Because he was a mam's boy and I was father's boy.

I never wanted to be a boss. But dad forced me. I open my eyes and get up, walk towards the drawer beside the my bed. I hold the photo frame.

My mother, me and Adriano,we all are happy in the photo. We were really happy but all happy crashed when dad cheated.

When mom heard that she was devastated and broken. After that our house was a complete chaos.

It was not enough dad brought his mistress and the kid in our house. Because of which a scene had occurred.

After that, don't know how but mom's health went downhill. I and Adriano always use to tell ourself that mom will be healthy again.

Until, doctor announced she is dead. Me and Adriano kept crying. No one was there to comfort us Or tell us everything will be ok. Only few maid and Mario was there.

After few days of her death. Dad came to  us, that time I thought he came to comfort us but not he came for telling us about the training. I wish things were different.
