now from Hazel's perspective-
I had left the barn quietly, running a hand through my hair with a soft sigh. Even if I was tired now, i couldn’t help but feel content after the night we shared.
I made my way back to my own home as quickly and as quietly as possible. I'd have to hide the fact I spent the whole night out, so sneaking in was my only option.
and so I did. I snuck my way into my home, gently closing the door behind me. I let out a silent sigh, running a hand through her hair.
"where you been, hm?" a voice called out. I looked up to see my fiance leaning against a doorframe, holding a whiskey in one hand.
I paused when I heard him, jumping slightly from the unexpected voice. I looked over at him, putting on my best smile.
“Oh-hey love. I was out.” I walked further into the house."out where hm?"
I shrugged lightly and walked past him,
“Just outside.”
I wasn’t gonna say that I went out to meet a woman, he definitely wouldn’t approve.I felt his eyes burning into me, "you were out all day and all night."
“..Yeah, I was. Is that a crime or something?”
I raised an eyebrow and walked over to the couch, sitting down.
“What, am I not allowed to go out alone?”He stared at me. It wasn't a good stare at all. It was the kind of stare that scared the shit out of me and he knew that.
I didn’t get what his problem was.
“Do you mind not staring at me like that?”I watched as he knelt down infront of me,
"Hazel, baby."I looked at him, tilting my head slightly.
my expression remained somewhat confused and slightly irritated.
“..What?”"tell me where you've been" he asked sternly.
I raised an eyebrow, not liking the tone he was taking with mw.
“Why do you feel like you have to know everything?”
I looked at him firmly."Hazel!" he snapped.
I flinched slightly at the snap, staring at him in disbelief.
I scoffed, standing up from the couch.
“Why the hell are you yelling at me? I was with a friend. That’s all.”
I rolled my eyes, getting more annoyed by the minute.
“Why do you always assume I’ve been with someone?”He walked over to me.
Of course he did.
"I heard from a little friend of mine that you left a barn this morning. Cassie's barn to be specific."my heart pounded at that moment.
“So?”
I shifted on my feet as I looked at him, scoffing quietly.
“Can you stop with the glaring now, nothing happened, if that's what you're thinking.”"if you don't open up that fucking mouth of yours and tell me what's going on here, I'll have you dead in the morning!" he yelled before standing back. Did he realise that he may have gone too far?
I stared at him in disbelief when he yelled, my eyes widening slightly.
I stepped back from him, shocked by his sudden anger.
“What the hell is your problem?”I took another step back, holding my ground as I looked at him.
“This is ridiculous, you’re overreacting."But his glare pierced right through me and I panicked.
"she hit on me! I didn't do anything! I didn't feel anything, I didn't like her, I didn't want anything to do with her, she was all over me! She kissed me! I didn't kiss her or anything I swear!" I practically yelled, tears rushing down my flushed cheeks, watching as his eyes widened at my wordz whilst he stepped towards me, holding my face, "okay baby, okay." he wiped away my tears and kissed me gently.
his lips were nowhere near as soft as Cassie's.
