She didn't last much longer in the Undercroft- she basically said hello and goodbye to Sebastian and raced out of the room. She would let Ominis do the explaining, and deal with the inevitable teasing from the other boy another day.

She had the sense to reassemble her uniform before she made it back to her common room- not wanting a repeat of what happened last time. She was surprised that when she entered Garreth wasn't waiting for her, but she had come back a lot earlier than expected.

Jane looked around the room, but she couldn't spot that mess of red hair anywhere. She did however see a very pin tight set of red hair on the other side of the room- and decided to make her way over.

"Hey Leander-" he cut her off before she could even finish.

"Ah Jane Moore, finally changed your mind about me?" As if his words weren't bad enough the look in his eyes as he looked her over was enough to make anyone vomit. BUT she needed his help.

"No. Still haven't gotten there yet. Anyway, do you know where Garreth is?"

"Tsk, always on about Garreth. He's at the greenhouse last he told me, needed to harvest some ingredients for a potion he's working on."

She spun quickly on her heels, quick to make her escape before he would say anything more. She ran over to the floo flame, grabbed some of the black powder and yelled out Green House before the world around her zipped from view.

When she landed she was indeed in the Herbology area, and it was pretty quiet. She had been there earlier that day to get her extra assignment from the teacher, but it had been more lively then. Really though she didn't even know why she had come now, she should have just gone and showered and waited around in the common room for her friend to get back. Whatever, she was here now anyway.

She made her way to the 5th year greenhouse and quietly peeked inside. On the other side of the room working in his plant bed was Garreth- totally oblivious to her presence. He was the only one in the large room, and so she snuck quietly over towards him. He was humming to himself as he worked allowing her the cover she needed to make it right behind him.

She got up onto her tiptoes and leaned over to his ear, holding her breath. Then she whispered and blew out a warm breath for good measure;

"Whatcha working on?"

With lightning speed, that matched her own reactions earlier today, he spun around to face her. As he turned his shoulder smashed into her, sending her crashing to the ground. Oh how the turn tables.

"Jane!!" He rushed down to her, face switching from fear to confusion to concern. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay!"

"No it's okay-" she lifted her body off the hard greenhouse floor, feeling a little worse for wear. "-honestly I kind of deserve this for sneaking up on you- you'd think I would have learned my lesson." She murmured the last bit to herself.

"Let me help you!" He grabbed her arms and hoisted her up.

She gave her thanks, but when she pulled her arms away her world spun a little bit and she almost fell again. He grabbed onto her again, this time at her waist.

"Okay hold on-" he lifted her from her waist and placed her on a potting table just behind her. She felt a little more dizzy as he moved her around, but was stable enough as he quickly moved away from her.

He came back holding a little glass vial with green glittering liquid and held it out to her. She smiled as she looked at it.

"If only you knew how ironic this was." She accepted the bottle and drank, with much less tenacity than Ominis had.
