Everything was a blur for the next few days. Leadhoof barely ate and talked with anyone. He wasn't even able to do any chores. He doesn't even remember doing them or if anyone talked to him during the last few days. His mom tried to help him as best she could. This wasn't her dad but she was always close with her in-laws. Lead's dad was away during work for the kingdom but was able to come down for this, but even he was in shock.

At the day of the funeral Leadhoof didn't know what was going on. He just starred and kept away from everyone. The funeral happened in Ponyvilla. Quillhoof built his home here. His last wishes were to be buried here with his loved ones.

When it came for the burial....
His heartbeat skyrocketed. His vision became blurry. He felt vomit coming up and he had to run out of there. He ran out of the graveyard and quickly threw up whatever bit of food he had left in his body. He gasped for whatever air he could get before limping to a bush and falling down to his knees. He shook his head spat out whatever was in his mouth. He shuddered and slowly tried to stand up. 'How can I go back?' He thought to himself.

"Ahem." An energetic voice said. Leadhoof spun around and saw a poof of wild pink mane. In her hoof was a simple whoopycushion.

"Pinkie Pie... look right now is not a good-"

Then she slowly pushed on the cushion, letting out a long sad and pathetic fart noise. Her face being as bland as her attempt at cheering him up.

The stallion just starred at her for a moment before he giggled. Then he started loudly laughing. "That's so stupid." He laughed out and almost fell from lack of hair.

Pinkie smiled and bounced to him before wrapping an leg around him. "I knew that would work. It's hard but a laugh helps with everything. Your gramps wants you smiling. Not crying and... vomiting."

Lead leaned on her and returned the hug. "I know. It's just really hard. I miss him so much. Nothing even feels real right now."

"Your feelings are going crazy right now. They're just bouncing in the most worst ways possible."

"Yeah....yeah..."

"Well don't worry." She said taking a step back and patting his head. "You have friends here. I would offer you a cupcake but your stomach probably won't accept one. Which should almost be a crime. But let's get back to your family."

He nodded and started making his way back. "Don't tell anyone I threw up, please?"

Pinkie giggled at him. "Oh I won't. Your breath will tell it all."

"Ah....great."

A few hours passed and the sun was about to set. Leadhoof was in Sugarcube Corner. He was sipping some tea while just starring off in the distance.

The door rang as Mrs. And Mr. Cake walked in. "Oh goodness. Lead you're here." Mrs. Cake said worriedly. "Why aren't you at the courthouse with your family?"

Lead glanced and sighed. "I kinda want to be just left alone. I'm just waiting on my mom and dad really before heading home, and Pinkie knew I felt relaxed here so she let me sit here until my family was done."

The Cakes walked closer to him. Mr. Cake patted his back. "Gave us a bit of scare running out like that. But that Pinkie always knew how to cheer you up."

Mrs. Cake giggled at her husband, "They've known eachother since they were still fillies practically. Lead here has been to how many of her parties."

"Not nearly as many as she's hosted." Lead chuckled. "She knows I'm not much of a party pony but I'll enjoy a cookie or brownie or whatever she makes. She's an artist with baking."

"Don't have to tell us." Mrs. Cake said. "She's done amazing things here."

Before anyone could say anything else, Mayor Mare and Lead's dad and mom walked in. "Lead." His mom said quickly trotting to him. "How are you feeling?" She asked wrapping a leg around him

"I'm alright mom. Just need some time. Are we heading home?"

"Uh no. No something came up." His dad said with a small smile. "You're not going to believe this."

Lead quirked an eyebrow before looking at the Mayor who had a document in her hoof.

"Down here Mr. Hoof. It's says, 'I give the ownership and every right and object in the library to my grandson, Leadhoof.' Mr. Hoof, you are now the owner to your grandparents library. We can discuss you moving in and taking over when you're ready. Do you have any questions?"

Leadhoof just starred at her with his jaw hitting the floor. "Uh....no... no I'm good.... I may need a bucket. I feel some vomit again."
