OLIVIA SIGHED AS SHE turned away from the screen, arms crossed. There was an issue with Max's right-rear brake and he had been forced to retire. Alister placed his arm around her shoulder and pulled her into his side. Olivia placed her arm around his waist and looked up at him, "Don't stress, he's Max Verstappen. He'll make up for it in Japan." She gave him a soft smile and turned to watch as Max's car was brought into the Garage.
Max had gotten out of his car in a huff, pushing past his engineer who had been attempting to calm him down. As he removed his helmet, he made eye contact with Olivia. She sent him a thumbs up and a encouraging smile.
Max went to return the action but when he saw the way Alister had his arm around her shoulders and how she had hers around his waist, he simply just sighed and walked towards the back of garage, away from the cameras.
Olivia furrowed her brows in confusion but tried her best not to think much of it.
She knew how Max would get after a bad race. He just needed time to cool off and Olivia wasn't going to poke the already grumpy lion any further.
The Australian turned towards the screen and continued to watch the rest of the race.

OLIVIA WAS CURRENTLY IN her apartment, preparing for her night out with the team. She had been applying the last of her makeup when Heidi entered her room.
"Have you heard from Max?"
Olivia raised her brow in confusion, "Why?" Heidi shrugged, "He's still not back and Danny wants to know if he's still going out to celebrate Carlos' win."
Olivia nodded, "I'll call him to check." Heidi gave her a once over, "Olivia!" Said girl jump slightly, not expecting to be yelled at. "What?" Her voiced laced in concern. Heidi gasped as she took her by her arms, examining her once more. "You look gorgeous!" Olivia let out an amused laugh. "Bloody hell, I thought I did something wrong."
"Max's going to go berserk."
Olivia rolled her eyes, trying her hardest to hide her blushing cheeks. "It's not like that-"
"Yeah, yeah-" Heidi interrupted, "We're only friends, nothing more! Blah, blah blah!" She waved off her friends words as she headed towards the door. "Just call your lover boy before your brother loses his mind."
Olivia rolled her eyes, dialing Max's number. She waited a few moments before she heard someone answer. "Hello?" A girl's voice.
"Who is this?" Olivia asked.
"It's Maria..."
Olivia paused for a moment, "Oh..." Why did she have Max's phone? "Hey Maria, it's Olivia-" she cringed at how awkward she sounded, "Where's Max?"
"He's in the shower at the moment. Do you want me to let him know you called?"
Olivia shut her eyes tightly, "No that's okay. Just let him know Daniel's looking for him."
"Will do!" It sounds horrible but Olivia hated how cheerful he sounded.
Olivia cut the call off after that. She placed her phone down on the table and sighed.
This is good. He deserves to be happy. Besides we're just friends and it's not like he likes me like that anyway.
She gave herself a once over before grabbing her phone, keys and purse. She walked past Daniel and Heidi who where chatting in the livingroom, "I'm heading out! I'll send you my location when I get there!"
"Okay, love you!"
Olivia paused.
"What did you do?"
Daniel gave her an odd look, "I didn't do anything! I just said 'I love you'?"
"Yeah...but why?"
"Because I'm you're brother?"
"Yeah, but you never say that. You only do it when you want something." Daniel sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. "Why don't you just say ut back instead of questioning my motives." His voice slightly exasperated.
Olivia shivered in mock disgust. "Yeah, not happening."
She opened the door and waved goodbye to Heidi, leaving behind an offended Daniel. Her brother let her borrow his car for the night seeing as she had no plans on drinking.
Just as she aproached the entrance to the parking lot, she nearly bumped into Max. "Oh sorry," she gave her friend a smile which Max returned. "No worries, Liv." He seemed rather cheerful for some reason.
"Danny's been worried sick about you. I think he thought you were gonna ditch him."
Max winced, "Actually—"
"Let me guess," Olivia flashed him a teasing smirk, "You and Maria are going on a date instead?" Max's eyes widened, cheeks flushing. "How did yo—"
"She answered the phone."
Max nodded, "Right of course, I forgot." They were met with an awkward silence and Olivia sighed. "Well I best be on my way. My children are probably wreaking havoc as we speak."
She didn't hang around much longer and bolted towards where Daniels car was parked. She climbed in a started the engine once she was buckled in. She took a deep breath, trying her hardest to ignore the fact that Max was still standing there with a concerned look on his face.
She then pulled out of the parking lot and made her way over to the hotel Sabrina and Ollie were staying at.
