User, that's all he was. All he wanted to do was use her. He slipped through her unlocked window. She stood up waiting for him to do something, she wasn't bothered that he was in her room, she knew he was coming.

Ghirahim: Happy birthday, I bet no one told you that this week.

He said as he hugged her from behind, his head on her shoulder.

Mizuki: We've all been busy.

Ghirahim: Keep telling yourself that's why no one bothered.

Mizuki: I will.

...

Mizuki: So what does my sweet little stalker want now?

Ghirahim: You... we could treat you better.

Mizuki: That's not hard to do.

Ghirahim: Hence why you should join us.

He said leaning into her, whispering in her ear.

Mizuki: You come to pester ME about joining you.

Ghirahim: No, I've come to convince you that you deserve better.

He spoke, sounding offended at the idea of pestering her.

Mizuki: I do, but I understand their confusion and frustration.

He leaned in again, flicking his tongue out to lick her neck, trying to make her fall for his trap.

Mizuki: Do that again and I'll cut it off.

Ghirahim: You act as if you don't desire this.

Mizuki: I don't.

Ghirahim: Then perhaps it is just the desire to be wanted.

Mizuki: I-

Ghirahim: That's it isn't it, you work so hard to help everyone and get no thanks, all you get is hate and people telling you that you are useless. You poor pathetic human, you just want to help. I'd offer my condolences but you would reject them anyways. You deserve to teach them a lesson don't you think? Joining us could give you the opportunity to teach everyone, to show them what you can do.

He whispered in her ear, trying to entice her

Mizuki: I deserve more respect, yes, but I will not join you. Especially not now. If I turn on the kingdom I will just be hated by everyone. Now get out before I have to do something.

Ghirahim: Fine, you know where to find me if you change your mind. But I know you hate this, why do you demand on staying here?

Mizuki: Because I was raised to help people! I was raised by a mother who put everyone else before herself, and I do the same! You think I don't wanna show them they're wrong, that I don't wanna kill someone sometimes!? I get so angry and I suppress that anger until I'm about to explode! If I join Ganon no one will accept me, not even my family! If I betray the Kingdom I betray everyone I hold dear. Even if I didn't mind betraying them I still fear the outcome! I- I don't... I-

...

Mizuki: Just get out.

She says as she lies back down in her bed, covering herself and turning to the side, facing away from him. He sighed, jumping back through her window, returning to his base.

In the morning

She awoke to her friend nudging her and telling her there was food out in the kitchen they saved for her. She slowly got out of bed as her friend left, after getting dressed she headed to the door. She hesitated after hearing her friends talking about her yelling last night.

Kamila: If she can't get a hold on her anger I don't think I can be her friend anymore, the idea of being friends with someone that wants to hurt people just doesn't sit right with me.

Elazar: Yeah, and for her to get so angry that she is just yelling at the void, it just-

Naoko: I know right, I know she is trying to release anger but still.

Elazar: I understand being angry and having intrusive thoughts but she makes it seem like all it takes is a bad week and she is on the verge of snapping.

She opened her door a bit louder than usual, hoping they heard and got the message to be quiet. She walked out casually as if she heard nothing, checking the clock and grabbing the two slices of pizza they saved for her. She finished her pizza, standing in the kitchen, then went and grabbed a cup and filled it with ice water. Before she could even finish her drink a guard rushed in exclaiming that they needed to prepare for battle. For the next few months that's all they seemed to do; fight, eat, sleep, then repeat. Every battle he was there, watching as she slaughtered his troops then ran all the way across the field trying to help the other captains and her friends. She had finally managed to stabilize all the captains and her friends were fine, she leaned on a tree and held her stomach. She was sick from the continuous running and fighting, trying to choke back the sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. Tiny scratches and a few larger gashes covered her arms and legs, with a huge wound on the left side of her hip trailing down to her thigh and up to her stomach. None of the wounds were deep but that didn't mean they wouldn't cause problems. Still clutching her sword loosely in her right hand she swung at a small monster approaching. She pushed herself off of the tree and went to continue fighting, hearing a cry for help she ran to assist. She swung her sword up to block the attack, putting her hand behind the blade to support it, preventing the sword from being pushed away by the attacker's claymore. Her blade dug into her palm as she fought the claymore attacking the allied captain. She urged the captain to run and find a field medic, still fighting off the claymore that was now being pushed harder. Just as she managed to find an opening to deflect the blade she was struck with a blunt object from behind, collapsing to the ground unconscious. The enemies left her there, they didn't finish her off, they didn't even kick her out of the way. She awoke, hearing some of the soldiers talking.

Soldier1: Ugh her, she's useless why should we bother taking her to the medic.

Soldier2: She'd probably die anyways, we might as well just leave her here.

Soldier1: Yeah, besides no one would say anything.

Soldier2: I doubt many people would even notice she was gone.

Soldier1: No, everyone would notice because they would be getting double the rations.

She heard as they mocked her, she wanted to yell and tell them off but she was not able to do anything. She just closed her eyes again hoping the adrenaline would keep pumping so she could go without much pain. She felt lightheaded, drifting off again, expecting it to be her last time. Ghirahim walked through the battlefield, taking in glorious sounds of fighting; swords hitting each other and the armor of the opponent, the yells and grunts from the warriors, the sounds of armored boots running around. He was used to the battlefield, he felt at home fighting in wars and dueling anyone with potential. He continued walking through, far enough away from battle to just take it in. He came upon the tree by the lake, a pool of blood surrounded Mizuki as she lay underneath it. His eyes widened as he crouched down to check her pulse. She was still alive but he could tell she was barely hanging on. He picked her up with very little struggle and began walking to his base, the enemy base. He used his magic to try and heal her but to no avail. He couldn't do much while he was carrying her since he needed his hands to be free to ensure the magic was done right. He decided it would be best to get her to the base first, so he continued carrying her, bridal style, to the base. A soldier charged at him, he adjusted his arms and with a flick of his wrist he summoned his flying daggers, defeating the threat with ease. Ghirahim arrived at the base, he worked his way into the small infirmary at the back of the base. He laid Mizuki down on one of the cots and began trying to use his magic again. Despite his high power and magical prowess his magic could only do so much, but it saved her from needing stitches or any major surgeries. He grabbed two rolls of sterile bandages and began cleaning her wounds before wrapping them in bandages. He alerted one of the grunts in the base when he walked out, he turned his underling and told it to notify him if she woke or if something happened. Despite his composer he was not taking her wounded state well, he worried he would lose his chance at another ally and another worthy sparring partner.
