Balancing on the edge of the flat rooftop, Torin let out a low growl.

The sight of the elderly man sipping wine and laughing at the fearful, wide eyes of the young girl was making him sick to the core. She looked barely like a teenager, maybe thirteen or fourteen years old. Knowing that this was the man that had abused Tori all those years, just sitting in the building across from him, doing the same to yet another girl made Torin grit his teeth in anger. He knew what it meant to have no choice, having to do and endure unimaginable things to survive. But at least he had been an adult. Tori and Aaron had been children. Fucking children, like the girl that hesitantly took a step towards the man as he sat down on the bed, gesturing to his lap.

This wasn't the first time Torin tracked someone down with basically no information about them. He knew what he was doing, and he was good at it. Still, it had surprised him how little Toris abuser tried to hide his presence in the city. After all, from what Tori had told them, he was part of a big underground drug ring and a wanted criminal. Torins knuckles whitened as he gripped the edge of the roof, squatting down on the roof. He knew he should just capture Toris abuser and anonymously call the police, so they could arrest him. It would be the right choice. But he simply didn't care about right or wrong. Not right now, in this case. Not with the knowledge what this man has done to Tori and Aaron.

The thought of the white-haired man nearly rubbing his skin raw, sobbing, and shaking uncontrollably from the flashbacks, just fuelled his bloodlust. He thought he had buried that part of himself, after his time as a hunter. Suppressing it, so he could forget about how much he had enjoyed the killing. His muscles twitched, eager to shift, as excitement and adrenaline rushed through him.

This man won't get out of this building alive. He would pay with pain for what he did. A thrilling feeling spread through Torin as he fixated his prey with a cold stare and slowly rose from his crouched position. Carelessly stepping over the edge of the roof, he plummeted down to the ground and landed gracefully on his feet. Then he took off towards the side of the building and coming to as stop in front of the fire escape.

It was after midnight now, the darkness hiding him from any spying eyes as he hurriedly took of his clothes. Closing his eyes, Torin shifted, a quiet groan escaping him when he relished the power and strength that vibrated in his muscles. He jumped up the fire escape, making his way to the top of the building with ease, where the man's apartment was located. For a brief moment Torin, hesitated, the fur on his back standing up as the feeling of being watched crept down his spine. But then the stinging smell of fear reached him and his mind blanked out.

Torin rammed his shoulder against the metal door that connected the fire escape with the corridor inside. Pain shoot through his shoulder from the impact, but he barely felt it. The door burst open in an awful metallic screech, that made Torin freeze on the spot. He listened intently if anybody had seemed to hear the noise, trying to ignore the loud rushing of blood in his ears. But when there was no movement, Torin shook his head and bared his teeth.

Following the fear scent that hung in the air he found the apartment door. Walking up to the it, he took a step back, intending to open it the same way as the fire escape. He could be more subtle, but he simply didn't care. He was too furious, too deep in the rage of bloodlust. Tensing his muscles, he threw his whole bodyweight forward against the door when it suddenly opened. He stumbled into the bright room, past the startled bodyguard. Clawing into the ground he spun around, hissing at the dumbfounded faces of the four people. The seconds stretched as everyone stared at him. And then the girl screamed.

She scrambled back from Torin and out of the man's lap, opening her mouth to scream again when the man grabbed one of her pigtails and yanked her back to him. And pained sound escaped her, but before she could do anything else the man had pulled a pistol from under the pillow and shot her point blank in the temple. Torin barley suppressed his flinch as she went limp instantly, sliding of the bed and landing on the ground with a dull thud. He knew the man was cruel, but witnessing it was a whole other level. Not that it was his first time, Torin had seen and caused enough atrocities himself. He bared his teeth at the man, growling with barely restraint fury. The man looked back at him, totally unaffected by what he just did or by Torin's threating. Then he grinned, watery eyes narrowing, gesturing to the dead girl on the ground.
