Sweet revenge

Mohini POV

"Wake up Mohini, it's already late "

I heard kajal slowly calling for me as I opened my eyes. Yesterday I talked to her till late night about the kingdom and dirty politics of the palace.

I rubbed my eyes and sat on the bed while yawning.

"Can I have some coffee please?"
I asked while stretching my arms in air.

"What's that?"
Kajal asked raising her eyebrow in confusion.

Fuck , how in the world would they know about coffee in this era. I made a slip of tounge.

I just shook my head and told her it's nothing. Then she asked me to freshen up and get ready to meet my other sisters as they have asked for my presence.

I nodded looking at her and then she showed me the way to the royal bath .
I won't lie but I was awestruck after seeing such royal architecture and beauty of the bath room.

The pillars inside the bath area were designed with swan body and the walls were hand painted with branches and leaf on it.

I was then bathed like a royal princess. The other maids also came to give me a proper bath by applying different kinds of paste, uptan and natural oils .

The bath alone took me a hour. I won't lie but it was exhausting but at the same time very relaxing too.

I have never experienced anything like that in my life soo doing these kinds of things were quite interesting.

After the bath they dried my hair with an ash pot and applied alta on my hand and feet. They also braided my hair and styled it with jasmine flower.

I was amazed to see the volume of my hair. My hairs were never this beautiful and thick .

They made me wear a pink lehanga choli which was not very heavy as I asked them for something lighter specifically.

They made me wear some necklaces, then some rings , a gold waistband around my waist, beautiful pink and golden bangles on my wrist and then ending the look with a small nose pin and deep khol in my eyes.

I couldn't believe it was me when I looked at my final look. I felt like a princess. Well I am a princess now lol.

" Let's go the meeting hall now" kajal said while putting the dupatta on my head softly.

I nodded and then started walking outside my chamber. As I was walking around 5 maids were behind me following me.

When I asked kajal for the same she said that maharaj has appointed them personally for my care and protection.

Just as I reached the door of the meeting hall. I saw two soldiers bowing their head and one of them announced loudly.

"Attention, princess mohini the daughter of maharaj Rudradev is coming in"

I felt goosebumps at such loud noise.

As the soldiers opened the door I walked with my head high inside the room . My anklets were making noise as with my entry the whole room fell silent.

Kajal told me that this meeting hall is especially designed for the royal ladies only. No men could enter it.

As I make my way inside I noticed the ladies looking at me sharply from head to toe.
