Albafica of Pisces is alone, in the middle of a garden full of roses as red as the light of the sunset. He cannot play, fight with or even touch anyone, for fear of hurting them, due to his poisoned blood. He has grown up among roses, and has their magnificent beauty, but like them, his appearance is deceptive, because underneath are hidden the thorns, which in this case consists of the fact that his entire body is poisonous.
He has already become accustomed to it, and knows that crying is of no use to him. That is why, in an effort to protect them, he secludes himself in his garden. What he does not know is that Manigoldo is intrigued by this, and also attracted, although he does not admit it. Thus, he always follows him, as close as the poison of the roses allows him.
That is why only he understands this lonely and beautiful figure.
His companions mock Albafica, saying that he has everything a man could want, and only Manigoldo knows that this is not true.
