poppy's childhood oneshot (remake)

Lord Prickles

Poppy sleepily opened her eyes. She yawned and stretched sleepily. She blinked and looked at her calendar.

"What is today..." she sleepily said. She sleepily looked over at the Calendar. She looked at gasped excitedly. It was Christmas day. Poppy jumped out of bed and ran to the living room where she saw her father.

"Merry Christmas daddy." She said.

Peppy chuckled. "Merry Christmas poppy. Come on I made us some cinnamon rolls after we eat we can open presents."

Poppy smiled excitedly and hurried over to the table. She climbed onto her chair and sat down as peppy placed a plate of cinnamon rolls in front of her. Poppy smiled happily. Her father always made cinnamon rolls for breakfast around Christmas time. She picked up a cinnamon roll and took a bite. She chewed and swallowed. "These are delicious daddy."

Peppy smiled."I'm glad you like them poppy." He said. He began to eat his cinnamon rolls.

Pretty soon their breakfast had been eaten and peppy and poppy were opening their presents. Before long there was one present left.

Peppy handed it to poppy. "This is from me to you."He said.

"Thank you daddy." Poppy said and began to unwrap her present she happily gasped upon seeing what was inside.

Inside was a blue hedgehog snuggle toy.

Poppy picked it up gently and began to snuggle it. "I love this snuggle toy so much daddy. Thank you."

Peppy smiled. "You're welcome Poppy. What are you going to name your new snuggle toy?"

Poppy looked thoughtful then smiled. "I'm going to name him lord prickles." She said.

Later that night, poppy had fallen fast asleep cuddling lord prickles.

Peppy smiled and picked up poppy, who was still holding onto lord prickles, and tucked poppy into bed.

Poppy sleepily mumbled holding lord prickles close to her as she slept.

Peppy smiled. Something told him that lord prickles was going to be poppy's beloved snuggle toy now and for always.
