poppy's childhood oneshot (remake)

poppy is energetic on a rainy day

It was a rainy day. Poppy looked out the window and sadly sighed. She really wanted to go outside today. But the rain had decided to fall today so the father and daughter picnic day had been moved to tomorrow. Poppy took a deep breath. Staring out at the rain wouldn't make the rain end any quicker so maybe... yes maybe she could play indoors.

She had a lot of toys she could play with. With that poppy headed to her toy box and opened it.

Poppy had no idea how much time went by when her father called for her to come downstairs to eat some lunch.

Poppy excitedly hurried out of her room and raced to the kitchen where she took her seat.

She began to eat her sandwich. After finishing she returned to her room and stopped seeing the mess she had left so she began to pick up her toys once she finished she smiled happily. She looked around and sat on her bed. Slowly her feet began to swing. And poppy became aware that she felt energetic. She stood up and began to walk around her room. What should she do? She still couldn't go outside because it was raining. Maybe she could run inside as long as she was careful yes just this once.

He heard the sound of running and laughing. He got up and looked outside and stood shocked at the sight of poppy running around excitedly.

"Whoa poppy stop." Poppy skidded to a stop.

"HI daddy." She said breathlessly. "Sorry about running but I have so much energy."

Peppy looked understandingly at his daughter. "Looks like you got a lot of energy that needs to be burned off."

Poppy giggled and began to run around the pod. She then climbed on the sofa and began to hop up and down.

Peppy smiled and quietly snuck up as poppy climbed off the sofa as poppy began to spin around giggling.

"Whee." She stopped and sat down panting hard. "All that spinning made me dizzy after the spinning stop I'll run another lap around the pod."

Peppy then whispered "Hey poppy."

Poppy stopped and looked around but on seeing no one around scratched her head confused , suddenly peppy jumped from behind the couch and began to tickle poppy who giggled and squealed excitedly laughing as her father tickled her.

Peppy finally stopped and poppys giggles finally settled down.

Peppy smiled and picked poppy up poppy giggled and hugged her dad.

Peppy looked outside and smiled. "Rain stopped poppy we can go run outside for s bit."

Poppy became excited and ran out the pod.

"Poppy slow down." Peppy said as he followed his daughter.

Poppy giggled as she ran outside, jumping in puddles and laughing as she ran. This went on for a while until she started to slow down. She paused and yawned. She then began to ran some more but her pace was a bit slower finally she stopped and yawned hugely and walked over to her father. She hugely yawned again her eyes felt heavy.

Peppy smiled and picked poppy up and carried her inside and into her room. He gently put her in bed and tucked her in.

Poppy yawned hugy and snuggled under the covers her eyes slowly closing until the were completely closed and she was fast asleep.

Peppy smiled. "Sweet dreams my little princess." He said as he quietly tip toed out of the room and quietly closed the door
