"So, what did you plan for us ?" Chara asked as they walked inside the mall. They both looked at each other and then looked around, and saw that it was more crowded than expected. "Damn, there's a lot of people." Chara said, looking around to see some shops being fulfilled by customers. "I mean, it's a Saturday. I didn't think of it." Y/N said, also looking at random shops being swarmed. "Why did you choose that day over a Sunday ?" Chara asked, making Y/N smile a bit. "Because it was closer than Sunday." Y/N said, looking at a pastry shop. "That means that you were eagerly waiting for this ?" Chara asked, wanting to tease him a bit. "Of course. There's no way I couldn't be hyped for our date." Y/N said, smiling. "Have you already ate ?" Y/N asked, pointing at the pastry shop. Chara was still on her bit of cloud as Y/N said that.

'That means he's just like me.' Chara thought.

"Oh, yeah, but I didn't have any desserts. I was a bit stressed." Chara said, sheepishly smiling as Y/N nodded, walking towards the shop. "Too stressed because you've got a date with little old me ?" Y/N said, smiling at her. "Of course. How couldn't I be stressed ? I got a date with you." Chara said, leaning a bit towards him as they entered the shop. Y/N blushed a bit as they walked towards the cashier.

"Hello, what I can get you ?" The cashier said with a warm smile, which ticked off Chara as she only smiled at Y/N, who were too absorbed by the delicacies presented. She went and grabbed Y/N's left hand as he got a bit surprised by that gesture, but he didn't say anything as he was still choosing. "Anything that got your eyes, Chara ?" Y/N asked, turning his head to look at his date. Chara snapped her eyes from the cashier, who was lost by her demeanor, to the actual thing they came here for. Chara looked at the treats and pointed at the small balls with sugar on it.

"Good choice, we'll have ten chouquettes then, please." Y/N said, pleased with his date's choice. "Sure, I'll bring them immediately." The cashier said, smiling as she walked elsewhere. Then, Chara let out a sigh as she tightened her grip unwillingly. "You okay ?" Y/N asked, looking at their connected hand. "Yeah, don't worry. I just thought that it'd be a shame if we don't make the most of our date." Chara said, smiling at Y/N. He nodded happily as she mentally sighed.

She noticed herself being weird when other women were looking or talking to Y/N. Of all of the things she felt, she couldn't believe she actually felt jealousy. But she couldn't even say anything to him about it. It was an ugly thing and they weren't even dating in the first place. Then Chara thought of something.

'What if he doesn't see me in that way ?' Chara thought, stressed.

It was the first time it happened to her, the first time she loved someone as a dating partner. She was confused as she dived in that territory completely blind. And needless to say, her past didn't let her experiment anything in that department. But she knew that Y/N wasn't someone to lead her like that, if he didn't want to do anything romantic with her, he'd say so.

And even then, Y/N himself said that he was completely serious about her. She knew the young man, he showed her that someone couldn't be interested in anything but the person behind her title. He showed her his warmth, his sadness, his happiness. Chara always felt that he wasn't the type of person to show everything to a meaningless person.

"There, your pastries. It'll be €5 please." The cashier said, handing the bag to Y/N. He took it and gave her a €5 bill. "Thank you, have a good day." Y/N said politely as they exited the store. Chara couldn't help herself to have a proud smile as she willingly showed their connected hand to the cashier, who just looked perplexed.

"How about we eat them there ?" Y/N said, pointing at a small table, near the shop. "Of course." Chara said, smiling at they sat on the table. "To be honest, I never had those." Chara said as Y/N opened the small plastic box. "You never had chouquette ?" Y/N said, directly handing one to Chara. She looked a bit lost, but Y/N smiled sweetly at her as he didn't show any sigh of backing off. She blushed a bit at she took a bite of that sweet pastry, and felt how soft and delicious it was. "That is incredible." Chara said, experiencing a pleasingly discover. "That's good to know." Y/N said, taking another chouquette and ate it in one go. Chara took the one Y/N handed to her and ate it.

"How did it feel ?" Y/N asked, placing the box between them. "Soft, sweet, and also a bit crunchy." Chara said, making Y/N laugh. "I wanted to know about how it felt, being fed by your date." Y/N said, laughing a bit as Chara's blush became a bit more powerful. "Wanna know ?" Chara said, taking a chouquette and putting it near Y/N's mouth. "Come on, open up." Chara said, smiling warmly as Y/N blushed, but he took a good bite nonetheless.

"Embarrassing, right ?" Chara asked, to which he nodded. "A bit, but this one was sweeter. Maybe because of you~." Y/N said, winking at Chara as her blush definitely expanded across her cheeks. "Not as sweet as your words." Chara said, looking away shyly as she ate another one. Y/N chuckled as they ate their pastries together.

"So, I wanted to know, do you want to see a movie ?" Y/N asked, as the dating duo walked inside the mall. "Depends on the movie, if it's horror, that's a maybe." Chara said, thinking of an idea to counter his flirts from earlier. "I thought you were bad with horror ?" Y/N asked, looking at the intersection they will soon walk in. "When I'm alone, yeah. If you're here, I could just hide my face in your neck~." Chara said with a somewhat alluring voice, leaning towards him a bit. Y/N suddenly blushed as he hid his face. "Not fair." He mumbled as they walked towards the cinema. "That's just payback, my dear." Chara said, chuckling. "Interesting, if I flirt with you, you'll flirt back ?" Y/N asked, looking at the cinema's posters. "That's a given." Chara said, looking at the posters too. "How about this ?" Chara said, pointing to a poster. "Huh, I wanted to ask that." Y/N said, nodding towards the 'Determination Sinking Below' poster. "Let's watch it then." Chara said, smiling as they walked towards the ticket booth.

"Hello, two tickets for 'Determination Sinking Below', please." Y/N asked to the man inside the booth, who nodded and gave them the two tickets. "That'll be €10, fortunately for you there's a couple discount this Saturday." The man said, slightly smiling. Y/N nodded and grabbed his phone to pay with, but Chara was faster as she already pulled out her card, paying for the tickets. "Thank you, have a good time." The man said as Chara took the tickets.

"I could've pay." Y/N said, a bit angry. "And I beat you to it." Chara said, smiling. "I asked you out, the least I could do is to pay." Y/N said, entering the room where the movie was going to be broadcasted. "I can say the same, plus you paid for the chouquettes, so let me pay that." Chara said, still smiling as they took their seats, in the middle and far enough from the screen. Chara saw that Y/N wanted to say something. "I'll feel bad if I let you pay for everything, we'll take turns." Chara said, making Y/N nod. "Alright, fine." Y/N said, smiling at the red eyed girl. "Great." Chara said, warmly smiling as she connected her right hand with his left. Y/N smiled brightly as the movie started.

But as the movie went on, Chara couldn't focus properly on it. She was looking at Y/N in broken intervals. She couldn't resist as his expression was clearly showing that he enjoyed the movie. He would silently cheer, he would be silently surprised by the sudden violence, he would silently watch with his mouth gaping by one or two centimeters.

Chara had her focus on the latter scenario. She would look at his lips and surprise herself doing it, but it didn't stop her from looking. She wondered how it could feel to be kissed by them, not on the cheek, but on her own lips.

She shook her head as she could feel her blood rush into her cheeks. But she couldn't think anything else, she was attracted to the young man, who asked her out on a date.

She was living one of her happiest day, being on a date with the man she loved. And she wanted the end of the date to seal their relationship.

Chara nodded as she resolved herself to do one thing at the end.

'I will confess today.'
