"yams, what's wrong?" tuskki said in his regular voice, the question itself is nice but the tone is so weird it's almost like he says it out of annoyance.

"nothing tuskki, just drop it," yamaguchi said lowly as he walked to the changing room. oh it's wasn't anything either, he was actually upset.

earlier, when he was walking in the hallway, he always sees cute couples holding hands and giving each other kisses. he's so jealous because tuskki said that he didn't like pda and that they couldn't show that they were together because he technically hasn't come out yet, like it ever was going too.

tuskki thinks the traditional way of coming out is weird, he shouldn't have to announce his sexually, "hey guys i'm gay! woohoo" like what?

he sees it that he can date whoever he wants, and take home whoever he wants to his parents, without the validation from others. but still, showing love in public was a different territory for him, it wasn't like he was 'scared' of what people would think, he simply is just to awkward to do those types of things period, especially in public!

and yamaguchi is okay with that and he understands, but sometimes he wants to hold tuskki a hand, or give him a kiss at lunch, receive a hug sometimes.

but he can't lie and says tuskki never gives him attention, because when they stay over each other's houses tuskki does give him lots of love and attention.

you would think with his horrible attitude and snarky remarks that he's the same in relationships. and that is true sometimes but he also has a soft side of him.

yamaguchi loves when tuskki brushes his hair after he gets out the shower. how he always make sure that yamaguchi eats and sleeps properly because without directions he's like a chicken with his head cut off.

it's hard, because yams parents aren't to touchy-feely and they don't really know how to share affection and all. but hey, he has tuskki and that's enough for him right now.

the boys changed into their gym clothes but before going into the gym, tuskki pulled yamaguchi's hand for a second to make the other face him,

yamaguchi protested, "i said drop it!," he said in anger trying not to cry on the spot. tuskki looked at him with wide eyes, he knew yams is sensitive but he never got this mad like this.

tuskki sighed and put his hands on yamaguchi's shoulders, "stop it okay, i know something is wrong and i'm not going to let you walk around this upset,"

yams hung his head low, wiping his eyes with the palms of his hands, "why– why don't you ever kiss me tuskki?" the boy stuttered his words.

"what do you mean, you know—"

"are– are you em–embarrassed of me?," he broke down in tears, why did he suddenly feel like tuskki doesn't love him anymore.

tsukishima sighed as he looked to see who was around, when he saw it was all clear he pulled
yams into a hug, running his hand on yams hair, "my parents aren't home, why don't you take my keys and wait for me at my house okay? it's friday and you can spend the night, just go in my room, eat a snack and i'll be home as soon as practice is over," he whispered softly.

"but what about practice?,"

"i'll tell ukai you're sick, go relax okay, i'll be home soon,".

tsukishima walked home ready to handle yams emotions, not that he minds, it's just that yamaguchi is really emotional when it comes to his feelings. which tuskki loves, he loves that yamaguchi can say his feelings out loud, he wish he could do the same.
