A Secret Marriage

Prologe

The sun light was just barely shining through the windows of the shared estate of the wind and water Hashira. Them both peacefully sleeping Giyuu cuddled up to Sanemi his head resting on his chest.

But of course the peace wouldn't last long, Giyuu's crow came flying in interrupting there sleep. " CAW CAW GIYUU TOMIOKA A NEW MISSION HAD BEEN ASSIGNED, YOU MUST HEAD TO MOUNT (name) AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE"

Giyuu sighed softly as he got off his husband going to put his uniform on and make his leave, but not before sharing a quick kiss with the scared man.

The way up to the mountain took longer than expected, it was hitting night fall at this point. But Giyuu kept walking up the mountain until small house came into view.

He listened, the only sounds that could be heard were the animals running around. Giyuu was about to turn and make his way back down thinking he had the wrong place yet a loud scream stoped him.

Giyuu sprinted to the house seeing a demon hunched over a dead woman. "Damn it" he mumbled softly pissed that he for some reason couldn't sense this demon.

But it didn't take long as he quickly beheaded it, its head rolling to the ground before burning to ash. He went over to the woman seeing she had all ready passed. "Damn it" he repeated louder as he gently picked her up to dig her a grave.

"I am deeply sorry for not finding the demon quicker" He said softly once he had dug and filled the grave, he went back into her home making sure that there was nobody else or anyone injured.

What surprised the water Hashira thought was there was a baby who only looked to be a few months old, a small scar running up his cheek half way to his mouth.

Only then did he realize that the woman who had been killed was the child's mother. For once a sad look crossed over his face as he picked the child up and wrapping his hirori around him to keep the child warm.

He was angry that he for some reason hadn't sense the demon until it was too late, and now this child was an orphan.

Many thoughts were running threw Giyuu's mind as he made his way go Shinobo's estate, he wanted to make sure that the demon hadn't done anything to the baby.

The baby slowly started to wake up opening his eyes, revealing a lightish lavender color mixed with his dark hair. Honestly he was quite cute.

Giyuu smiled softly as he walked as he watched the baby tried to squirm his arm out of the wrapped up hirori and sticking his small hand out trying to grab onto Giyuu's.

He laughed softly letting the child hold onto his hand surprised at how small the baby's hand was. He kept his gaze forward though as he saw Shinobu's estate or the butterfly mansion come into view.

So Giyuu walked in finding the small woman to ask to check the child over, she happily agreed. "So Tomioka-San what do you plan to do with this child?"

He thought, he would most likely talk to Sanemi about it but he might just raise this child as his own. "I.. I might just raise him" She has a surprised look but turned into a smile.

"Well Tomioka it's nice to know you'll finally have a friend, and he's fine" Giyuu shot her a glare as he gently picked the baby back up wrapping it back in his hirori before he made his way back to the estate.

"Sanemi?" He called out softly hoping to not wake the baby, he was resting on the couch. He smiled softly and gently kissed Sanemi's forehead to wake him.

"Mmm" he mumbled softly as he sat up still seeming to be half asleep. "Yes my love" Giyuu slightly smiled as he sat down next to the scared man cuddling into his side.

"Sanemi when I was on a mission there was a demon who killed a family, everyone passed other then a small child" He said softly as he watched Sanemi wake up more as he talked and now realizing what was in his arms.

"So what do you want to do with him?" Giyuu sighed softly as he looked up at him, hoping he would agree. "Well I was planing on razing him, what do you think?"

Sanemi was silent for a moment as he thought, a small smile crossing his face. "You sure were ready for this?" Giyuu nodded as he looked back down to the baby sleeping peacefully in his arms.

"Then it's settled, we officially have a new member of the family" Sanemi said happily as he grabbed Giyuu's chin pulling him into a kiss.

Sanemi pulled away a few moments later still a warm smile as he shifted pulling Giyuu more into his lap. "What do you think we should name him?"

"Hmmm I was thinking, Ryu" He hummed in response nuzzling into Giyuu's neck resting his chin on his shoulder. "It's perfect" he said softly as his hand reached around gently grabbing onto one of the baby's hands gently holding it in his bigger one.
