🥀 Chapter 1🥀

Shuichi's pov

"I still can't believe this..Would Kokichi really sacrifice himself in order to save us all? Why? He would always go up to me and tell me that he's acting the way he is to make us all miserable.."

Suddenly a loud banging on the door from my dorm stopped my thinking. I turned around to see who was trying to get in.

"Hello? Who is it?"

The banging has stopped.

"Shuichi! My favorite student! Open up!"

I started feeling anxious. Every time he wants something my heart stops beating. What on earth could he possibly want this time?

"Come on, open up. Don't make your teacher angry!"

"coming."

I opened the door to see monokuma joyfully jumping from one foot to his other.

"I came here to announce that everyone will be leaving Hope's Peak tomorrow! You can start packing up, and you'll meet up in the gym with everyone at 8 am sharp!"

"Wait, I need to ask you one thing."

"Eh? Whadya want? Is one of your classmates giving his life away to save everybody not enough? Gosh kids these days are extremely picky."

"I just wanna know why would he do that? And why would you agree? Didn't you enjoy making us suffer? Why would you stop just now?"

"Ahem. That's four questions. I don't got all day to tell you everything in detail. I'm just gonna let you know that I did this because of the ratings. It seems that nobody liked to watch your boring asses and I almost lost all viewers! Can you believe it?! Anyway, pack your shit, Shuichi. Unless you wanna get left behind and stay in this abandoned building forever, that is."

I got nervous and didn't even notice when I raised my voice.

"Wait! One last question! I swear! Why would Kokichi do this?!"

"He did it because..He was the only one who volunteered. He met up with me one night, and asked if he can give his life away only to save yours..Er, to specify, *everyone's*"

"And you agreed just like that??"

"Kid, let me go! I need to tell the rest of the students to pack their bags! Geez I don't have time for your lil investigation.."

He slammed the door behind him and left.

He said that Kokichi gave his life away to save us all, but..Is it really true? For some reason I can't make up my mind..

What's *real* and what's *fake* anymore? What does it feel like to be *real* or *fake..?

I threw myself onto the bed and covered my face with my arms..

"Oh Kokichi...The strange guy that you are."

The next day

Everybody that has made it to chapter 4 was waiting in the gym for Monokuma to start his speech.

I could see Maki and Kaito chatting. Well, actually, Kaito's the one that did all the talking.

I saw Tsumugi showing Himiko posters of her favorite anime and Miu was fantasising about going home. Gonta on the other hand was just talking to bugs and trying to get Kiibo to hold them.

It looks like everyone is having fun..

After like 10 minutes, Monokuma revealed himself on the podium and crawled on top of his stand with the microphone.

He looked at the crowd and started talking.

"Ahem. Welcome class 79. Today, we gather to celebrate a significant milestone in the lives of my students."
