When Cass comes back into the shop I take my 30-minute break to sit and consume the gift. "Thank you," I say as he sets the drink and sandwich on the counter. "You driving me back to the motel tonight it is the least I could do." barely anyone treats me with this kind of kindness unless you consider Sam. But he can't help it I practically raised him. our parents were always at work or the bar as we grew up. Smiling back at him. "Dean, would you be okay if I stayed in the shop for the rest of the hour? "Not at all." we sat in silence as I ate food and clocked back into my shift, he silently watched me walk to the back as I got back to work on his car.

When I left the garage and was finally done with my day Cass was still sitting on the Chair I left him in. He was sitting silently looking at the painting on the wall of my father's car. Bobby had worked on it so much at one point he had an artist come in and paint the damn thing.

"Cass?" he looked up at me, a smile spread across his face when meeting my eyes "Time to go?" he asked, "Time to go" I quickly replied. Locking up the shop he stays a distance away from me. but as soon as I get into the car with him it's back. the warm and comforting feeling from the stained glass as if that creature lurked right behind me and Cas. As I drive to the hotel I hope he asks to pull over for dinner I hope to be in the car with him longer but unfortunately, Cass leaves me wanting as I pull up to the motel and park. "Thank you Dean when should I be in the shop to get my car?" I think for a second even though I know exactly what to say, almost needed to prolong the interaction. the warmth that filled my bones. " I can come get you around 6 it will be ready by then."I wasn't planning to pick him up but he has no other form of transportation. so I figure why not if only to feel the stained glass intoxication one more time in the presence of another human?

"I'll be waiting outside then." his last smile to me today happened as he got out of the car.

I drove away. It's been a while since a man swept me off my feet and he serenely wasn't feminine and defiantly didn't look like the Bi type. At least I could dream.

The next morning I woke up on my bed to my disbelief I was pretty sure I had fallen asleep with the date line on but I didn't think about it much because I happened to be an alcoholic. I drag myself out of bed and head to work Bobby was there to run the desk long before me today and I couldn't get in too late.

When I pulled up to work the light was on and Bobby was sitting at the desk waiting for me to clock into work. "whose car is that in there? I've never seen that before."

"some guy named Cass is in town for a short time on business, he came in yesterday I just need to finish up fixing the window and then I'm going to pick him up from his motel to pick it up."

"You are gonna pick him up?"

"Yes, when I am on my break."

"Okay yeah, that works."
