So... this ship is, we can say it, confirmed in the last episode of Friendship is Magic. But I don't really think this shi can be possible in Equestria Girls.
To summarize my opinion on this ship:
In Friendship is Magic, it's canon, so I accept this ship, even if I'm not a big fan of it.
In Equestria Girls, they're not as close as their pony selves, at least other ships looks more likely to be canon, and like I'm not a big fan, I can't see the ship come.
