Isha had always been dedicated to her students, and when the call came from Pune, she knew what her answer had to be. Standing in front of her school principal in Jammu, she spoke with quiet determination, "It's my duty to my college students. They need me, and I cannot turn away from them."
Her principal nodded in understanding, knowing how deeply Isha cared about her work.
Principal : Thankyou so much meri favourite you never disappoints me !
With a heavy heart, she packed her bags and booked her flight to Pune. Alongside her was Akshat, her best friend and confidant. Akshat had been her pillar of support, especially since he too was a lone soul, with no family to speak of. Their bond was more than friendship; it was a connection of two people who understood the weight of solitude. Akshat is a very friendly and gentlemen person but at the same time he knows how to respect women.
In Pune, they attended a conference held at a different educational department, not at the Bhosale Institute where Isha would be taking up her new role. The conference was a success, and Isha felt a sense of accomplishment as she discussed educational reforms with her peers. Akshat was by her side, always ready with a smile or a word of encouragement. Their camaraderie was evident to everyone around them. Now the conference is over and they were leaving again to Jammu.
Isha : Chalo conference toh kafi achhe se ho gya toh fir ab chale firse Jammu ?
Akshat: Kya yaar Isha tum bhi nah! Matlab har samay kaam kaam (disappointed tone ) Abhi toh aaye thoda ghum fir ke jaate h nah! Mein toh pehli baar Pune aya hun. Tum Pune aai ho kya pehle? (In curiosness)
As this question arised sudden tsunami of emotions were raised in Isha's mind.
Akshat : Isha?? (Snaps a finger around her face)
Isha : huh?
Akshat : Kaha kho gyi ho btao na hum ghume idhr ? (Hoping Isha to respond positively)
Isha : Na.. nahii mujhe bohot saare important kaam hain Jammu mei college se related bhi aur personal bhi!
Akshat : (disappointed) Dekh liya bhagwan ji ek hi dost h usne bhi mana kar diya ! Sb log mujhe lonely Karo bss (sad)
Walks away...Isha ran behind him ,
"Accha theek hain hum ghumege idhr lekin sirf kuch din , jyada din mein Jammu se dur nhi reh sakti ! "Akshat : (cheerfully) Finally mam maan gayi !
Holds Isha cheeks (just for 0.2 sec okay no kachkach in comments)Isha : kya kar rha h yeh(laughs) bacchi thodi na hun mein! Isha is feels quite happy because he turns up her mood whenever she was a little sad or depressed and so Isha.
Akshat : Par dost toh hain na aur dosti mein age kaha matter krti h !
Isha : Achha theek abhi vese shaam ho gyi h ! Kal hum yaha ki best places pe jayege. Filhal mujhe street walking karte hain, okay !
Akshat: Okay mam!!
As they walked through the green streets of Pune, Isha marveled at the beauty of the city she once called home. The vibrant colors, the gentle breeze—everything was so different from the cold, snowy terrain of Jammu. Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t notice Akshat slipping his hand into hers. It was a simple, friendly gesture, but it made her pause. She looked up at him, and he smiled softly, as if to say, "I'm here with you."
Just then, a car sped past them . The car belonged to—Shantanu. He had seen them, seen her, walking hand in hand with Akshat. The car slowed down for a moment as if the driver was uncertain. Shantanu’s eyes locked onto hers through the window, filled with shock and confusion.
Shantanu : Isha? Says in his car not more than a whisper (Shocked)
Shantanu couldn’t shake the image of Isha and Akshat walking hand in hand from his mind. It was a sight that stirred a whirlpool of emotions within him. On one hand, he felt a pang of hurt—a sharp, almost unbearable ache—thinking that Isha had moved on, that perhaps she had found happiness in someone else. But there was also a strange sense of relief, a part of him that was happy for her, believing that maybe she had found the peace he could never provide. But despite these conflicting emotions, one thought kept gnawing at him: If Isha had come to Pune, why hadn’t she reached out to him? Why hadn’t she even tried to meet him? Had she truly moved on to the point where he no longer mattered? The questions swirled in his mind, growing heavier with each passing moment.
Shantanu pulled his car over to the side of the road, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly as he tried to process what he had just seen. The more he thought about it, the more confused he became. If Isha truly loved him, then why hadn’t she looked for him after coming to Pune? But then again, he wondered if what he had seen was just a moment between friends. After all, he knew Isha well enough to know that she valued her friendships deeply. Holding hands with Akshat could have been a simple, innocent gesture, especially since they were best friends.
But his heart refused to settle. The thought of losing Isha, even if he had never truly had her in the way he wanted, was too much to bear. He could feel his chest tighten as he thought about all the moments they had shared, the love that had once blossomed between them. How could things have changed so much? And why hadn’t she come to see him?
Meanwhile, Isha was blissfully unaware of the turmoil she had unknowingly caused in Shantanu’s heart. To her, the walk with Akshat was just a pleasant moment shared between two close friends, nothing more. She hadn’t seen Shantanu’s car, hadn’t noticed the way he had looked at her. Her mind was at ease, focused on the beauty of Pune and the work that lay ahead of her.
But for Shantanu, the questions wouldn’t stop. He knew he had to see her, to understand what was really going on. Was she truly happy? Had she really moved on? Or was there still a part of her that held on to their past, just as he did? With these thoughts swirling in his mind, Shantanu made a decision. He would find Isha, talk to her, and perhaps, finally, get the answers he needed.
Kya Shantanu Isha se mil payega !?
Ya inki yeh kahani fir adhuri reh jayegi?
Aur kya hogi Akshat aur Isha ke rishte ki shuruwat??
