Chapter 2.

Vijaynagar has become a diverse kingdom, with various climatic conditions, and diverse cultures. Vijaynagar kingdom was a collection of villages, which were tribal villages, and the villagers were happy, as they were part of a kingdom, also prosperity touched the lives of common people. Vijaynagar had many rivers, and lakes, except for the desert region, where there were three small rivers, and two lakes, however, there was no shortage of water supply in desert regions, as many canals were built for the villages. The Geography of Vijaynagar was exquisite, it had immense inhabited, and uninhabited lands, covered with mountain ranges, valleys, dense forests, desert, dry rocky mountains, snow-clad mountains, rivers, lakes, lagoons, and backwaters, that harbored immense species of plants and animals. Vijaynagar was blessed with immense natural resources, and due to this, the kingdom prospered. The trade within the kingdom grew in a full swing via roads, and rivers. Vijaynagar conducted trade via sea routes, roads and rivers with other kingdoms. The journey to other kingdoms via sea would take a month or more, while on roads and rivers would take one week or more. However, there were a few kingdoms, who decided to invade Vijaynagar, but they all were defeated. Thanks to the Jagdeshwar, Karma, the divine animals, and the soldiers of Vijaynagar.

As there were highways, and river transportation within the Vijaynagar kingdom, so there was a risk of people getting robbed, and there were instances where people got looted by the thugs. There were thugs who hid among mountains, valleys, desert, and dense forests. The divine animals and soldiers were assigned the task to decimate the thugs, and thus, the divine animals and soldiers maintained peace by decimating the thugs. Military camps were set within the secluded regions of the kingdom, apart from villages.

I was a soldier, and took part in many wars, and killing thugs, who harass or kill innocents. I was living in one of the villages in the far east region of our kingdom. I was posted in the far eastern borders of our kingdom. Everything was peaceful in the kingdom. After few years, we use to receive news that, there has been war on the sea, our soldiers were attacked by demonic forces and ocean monsters, however, our soldiers repelled their attacks, and we have divine animals too. There were attack on our border posts by the demons, but those attacks were repelled. The military post where I stayed, was among thick forest, and we were attacked by the demons. We fought the demons, I saw the demons, they seemed to be transparent, they had grizzly hairs, yellow eyes, they were horrible. We killed those demons, there was peace, but later we came to know that, the demons were trying to surround our kingdom. Jagdeshwar and Karma lead the battle against the demons, we knew that the fight will be long. We were ready for the battle.
