Chapter 4 - That Stinks!!

Cell 13's members were greatly enjoying the new pups' company thus far. They were just too cute-- always letting out the sweetest little noises and had the most adorable giggles and belly laughs when they were played with. And it had only been about two hours since Jyugo finally came back to the cell.

Nico and Rock had no doubts that the pups would make life just that bit more exciting, and they were hyped to get to witness them growing up.

Uno and Jyugo surely felt the exact same.

At the moment, Jyugo was taking some time to relax in his nest. He greatly missed it and he couldn't help but nuzzle deeply into the plush blankets and purr in content. Uno was settled next to him, rubbing his shoulders soothingly with their heads pressed together.

While the couple spent some time to themselves, Rock and Nico had taken up babysitting the pups, keeping them entertained on the other side of the room.

Natsumi was settled in Rock's lap, batting up at the little plush rabbit he wiggled above her. Nico held Hunter under the arms as he bounced him lightly, babbling at him as he babbled back, seeming to be mimicking his noises.

"Ahbb, bahh bah.." Natsumi cooed, grabbing the ear of the rabbit and taking it into her mouth, wetly mouthing it. Rock chuckled, letting her wrap her arms around the rabbit and hold it. "Ah bah bah, you say?" Rock laughed playfully, "What's that mean, kiddo?" Nico giggled on the side at Rock's question, glancing over at Natsumi.

"Must be the baby noise equivalent of "rabbit"!" He exclaimed, watching Natsumi nibble on the rabbit ear before looking back at Hunter as he let out a drawn out "Bhhaahhh!", laughing at the silliness of the noise as he noticed Hunter looking down at Natsumi, reaching at her direction.

"Yeahh?" He cooed, wiggling Hunter a little and making him giggle, his fist in his mouth. "Yeah, Hunter? Is Natsumi bein' silly? Is she?"

He lifted Hunter up a bit to bring his belly to his face, blowing a raspberry against his onesie and making him squeal and kick. "Dhooh, you're so cute!!" Nico exclaimed with a lightly exaggerated voice, nomming on his chubby belly. "Yesh you are, oh yesh you are!! I just wanna eat you up you're that cute!!"

Jyugo smiled to himself as he found himself watching his cellmates playing with the pups. It was undoubtedly adorable how clearly attached they'd gotten to them. For a moment he believed things really couldn't get better than this, but something told him they most definitely could. After all, they had the pups' whole lives to look forward to.

Uno seemed to notice him staring, and let out a small chuckle, turning to nuzzle his nose against black and red hair. "They really love our pups, don't they?" He asked lovingly, and Jyugo laughed back gently, nodding twice.

"I'm thankful." Jyugo admitted, nuzzling up into Uno's face to return the gesture. "They're such great friends, Natsumi and Hunter are lucky to know them."

Uno hummed in happiness, giving a nod of his own. "That they are."

A slight gag noise made Uno and Jyugo turn, seeing Nico squinting his eyes and scrunching his nose as he held Hunter still, but had him held out away from his face now.
