JUNGKOOK POV

"SO I'MA LIGHT, IT,UP, LIKE, DYANAMITE OWOAH!!" I said the last perfect vocal of the song as the director Yong Seok Choi said, " Very well done everybody for doing this song, now we just have to hit the paste button and add some music in it and we are good to go with our new song". He applauded to everyone.

"Now let's get some drinks and celebrate!!, you guys have done really well", he added more. I sat on the couch tiredly as streched out my legs, giving a good caress to my nape as I groaned in tiredness.

" Good job, everyone, let's hope that this song will be a hit too" Namjoon said. Everyone agreed in response as they were sitting on the couch all worn out and tensed up after recording the song for a whole day.

I was strecthing my arms, giving them a good crack as I stood up and went out from the studio, "I'll come in night to celebrate with you guys, i've some work to do, bye". I got out from the company without a second thought and went to the police station.

The horror of watching my parents slaughtered before my eyes clings to me like a shadow I can never shake. Every day since, I've been stuck in that moment—frozen in time, broken. That bastard didn't just kill them, he tore my soul apart, left me hollow and craving the love I'll never felt again. I won't rest, I won't breathe easy, not until I've found him. I swear on their graves, I'll hunt and haunt him to the ends of the earth. He ruined my life, and I'll make sure he pays for it—one way or another.

I'll make him suffer for every drop of blood he spilled. No matter where he runs or how long it takes, I will be his reckoning. He'll know the weight of every breath he stole, and when I find him, he'll wish for mercy—but I will give him none.

He is the thief who stole my happiness, ripping it from my hands. I begged him, pleaded with everything I had, but the more I cried, the more he shattered them—bone by bone—until the final bullet silenced their breath before my eyes. And then he ran, as if those  two innocent lives meant nothing, as if my world hadn't just collapsed. For years, he had been hidden in the shadows, untouched by justice, while I've been haunted and triggered by those moments every single breath. But his time is running out. I will find him, and when I do, my vengeance will be as relentless as his cruelty. He will suffer in ways even his twisted soul cannot fathom.

AUTHOR'S POV

"August 31st, 2006. 11:30 pm, sharp," Jungkook repeated, his voice low, yet heavy with a tension that had built over years of pain. He stood before Officer Kim Tae Seong, Korea's sharpest detective, his reputation for solving the unsolvable unmatched. But even the detective seemed distant, barely looking up, too absorbed in the blue light of his laptop.

"Are you sure about the date and time, even after all these years?" Officer Kim's voice was flat, his focus still on the screen.

Jungkook's jaw clenched, a bitter frustration boiling up. "How can I not be sure?" he bit out, his fists tightening. "That was the night before my birthday." His words hung in the air, laced with a pain so sharp it felt like it could cut through the silence. It was the night that defined everything that followed—the night his life splintered into something unrecognizable.

The detective hummed dismissively, fingers flying across the keyboard, his focus never wavering from his task. Jungkook stood there, fists trembling, every second that passed tightening the noose of helplessness around him.

Finally, after a painfully long pause, Officer Kim leaned back, eyes narrowing as he studied the screen. "Looks like the bastard was smart enough to wipe the footage that night," he muttered.
