Writing on the skin:

Osamu: hey

Suna: hi

Motoya: hello

Soulmates were a beautiful thing to have.

At the age of 13 you can see the initials of your Soulmate on your left wrist start to form, which are also known as a soulmark. The soulmark is rather small, barely noticeable if you're not taking a closer look at it.

At the age of 16 you are able to communicate with them by writing on your body.

However you can't write any names on there, not yours or one of your friends. If you do then it would only appear as scribbled lines for your soulmate. However you can still write either nicknames or the initials of your name.

After having turned 16 you can feel your soulmate whenever you're close to them, you will feel a sudden rush of happiness spreading through your chest, feeling warm all over your body. The soulmark will give you a stinging sensation on your wrist which gets stronger the closer you are to your soulmate. However that is only the case if your soulmate is also 16.

After you have found them their initials will start to receive a random color. That only happens once the soulmates fully accept each other as their respective soulmate. If just one of them does then it won't happen until the other does so too.

Komori Motoya, he turned 13 just a few days ago. He was currently at home alone. His parents were out shopping, Motoya was outside practicing Volleyball while waiting for his cousin Kiyoomi Sakusa to arrive.

That's when he got a sudden pain in his left wrist, he dropped the Volleyball as he kneeled down on the grass, holding onto his wrist as tears streamed down his face.

He knew what this was, he was getting his soulmark. The cursive writing started to form letters on his wrist. First it was only one, then two and then-

Wait what? It was supposed to stop after the first two letters. But it didn't. Two more letters started to form.

The pain stopped after 9 minutes. Dried tears on Motoya's cheeks.

And that's when he took a look at his wrist.

O. M. & S. R.

Motoya was scared. Two soulmates weren't a good thing.

His father had always said that having more than one was considered bad luck in his family.

His mother didn't have an opinion on that, but it was obvious she didn't really like people with more than one soulmate.

Which is why Motoya was so scared.

He refused to have more than one soulmate.

However he didn't wanna leave one of his soulmates hanging.

What if the two of them wanted to be together? Motoya would only ruin that.

So he decided to forget about it, pretend like they don't exist and ignore the ever so slight pain in his chest by doing so.

Osamu Miya and Atsumu Miya, the twins, have just turned 13 when they were both sitting on the lower bunk of their bunk bed. Atsumu fought back tears while his brother, Osamu, was hugging him, also fighting back his own tears.

They were in a lot of pain as their soulmarks began to form in cursive writing on their left wrist.

For Atsumu it only took around 6 minutes before the pain had stopped for him.
