Reaper in the screen

Waking up

Everything hurts. Everything is dark. Everything is cold. But i see...a light? It's getting bigger..im moving closer and closer to this light. Am i alive? My surroundings look like the tv static you get when a channel isn't on. I dont know where i am. I died didnt i? This is where i stop telling my story. I am so confused.. where am i?.

(This is now the part of the story where Marina is no longer telling it from her perspective)

Marina looked around examining her surroundings more. But there was nothing. Absolutely nothing. She was floating there in this weird tv static like world. "Is this heaven?" She thought to herself. Marina noticed a tall black square in the distance. Its like the static moved out of the way for her to see it. Out of curiosity, Marina decided to move closer to it. The black square like object started to grow, it was moving closer to her. She wanted to move out of the way but she couldn't. Once the object was close enough to her, she could see her reflection. In fact, it seemed to be some sort of a screen. Suddenly the black tint on the screen faded and there was a room on the other en with two people sitting on a couch staring directly at Marina.

"Am i in a tv?-" she said in disbelief. "There is no way im in a tv. I died!!" She thought to herself. Marina circled around trying to figure out whats going on then she notices the people that were there are gone. "Maybe they walked away" marina then thought for a moment and put her hand on the screen. She suddenly started feeling jittery. Like sparks were surging throughout her body but it didn't hurt. In her faint reflection she could see that she appeared to be glitching. "Just like a video game character" she said in astonishment.

She pushed her hand further on the screen and her hand seemed to fade right through it. She then pushed the rest of her body through the screen and she was now fully in the living room of this random house.
