Kids Today; Season 3 Ep.1

It had been two months since Eddie and Kaitlyn started secretly dating, although, everyone they knew was starting to get suspicious about their behaviour, even Chris. They'd been planning on telling the little boy but the moment wouldn't arrive. The team had also started to suspect from the couple as they would ask quetions like: "Where have you both been?". They were enjoying it as a secret but they were ready to make it official for both Chris and the team and to fill the papers about dating your co-worker, the only thing was that the right moment had to arrive.

Buck had been trying to get back to the 118 by practicing at the academy and get certified again. It was taking a while but he was starting to get more patient about it which made the Buckley sisters to relax a little about him. 

The 118 had been called to an emergency a fifteen-year-old boy was being chased as he couldn't stop his car from speeding. Bobby told them the plan while they were driving.

"They're clearing a stretch of Woodly Avenue. We'll meet them there." Bobby said as he kept explaining the plan.

"How fast is he going?" Hen asked.

"105." Bobby informed. "Once he gets to Woodley Avenue, he'll hit the brakes, hope he slows down a little. That's when we're coming in."

"That's a vintage car." Chim said.

"Worried about damaging a classic, Chim?" Eddie asked.

"I'm worried about damaging the kid. Airbags weren't a standart until the 80s." Chim explained.

"A car that old, we'll be lucky if it has shoulder harness." Kate said.

"If they get it down to 60 or 70, you know..." Eddie said.

"I like his chances better." Chim said.

"What kind of crazy person came up with this plan?" Hen asked, looking out the window.

"My wife." Bobby said as he looked at her.

Oh, right! Bobby and Athena got married. Kate and Hen were still kind of upset as they hadn't been there. They understood that they wanted something simple with May and Harry but the women wanted to be there for them. It didn't matter though, it was already done.

Once they got the information about the kids status, Bobby informed their position on Woodley Avenue.

"All right, Maddie. We're ready, let's do this." Athena said on the radio.

After a few minutes, the truck got in the way of Tony's car as it slowed down, staying at 80.

"There he is." Kate said as she looked out the window, the rest of the team doing the same.

A few seconds after she said that, the car slammed into the back of the truck. The truck started to came to a stop as well as the yellow car attached to it. After it did stop, the team jumped out. The wheels of the car were still spinning, smoke coming out of them. Bobby and Eddie managed to take the kid out of there while Chim, Kate and Hen went to get the gurney.

"We got him, Cap." Hen said as they put him on the gurney, and started wheeling him into the ambulance. He had broken his nose as blood was coming out of the bridge of the nose.

A police car pulled over next to the ambulance, reveling the kid's dad.

"Tony!" He ran towards the gurney. "Are you okay?" 

"Dad. Dad."

"Is he okay?" The father asked.

"He's got a broken nose and a possible concussion." Hen informed.
