Enjoy the little things part 1

As Tallahassee was driving Columbus was trying to get their minds off revenge and finding home.

"Come on why don't we just forget about those girls and head home"Columbus says from the passenger seat.

"Home"new Orleans let's out a hallow laugh making the young boy in easy.

"Yeah but why do you say home with venom"Columbus asked confused but Tallahassee has an idea on why she feels about home that way he's been through it too. 

"I use to have a home and a family we lived in New Orleans most of our lives had a daughter she just turned 3" new Orleans says looking out the window with a far off look in her eyes.

"What was her name"Tallahassee asked since he had a child as well but was taken by the undead.

"Lily she was the most energetic little bubble of sunshine you'll ever get to meet she was mine and John's world until they were taken from me"she says clutching her fist as images of John and Lily's smiling faces flash before her eyes before everything went to hell.

"What happened"Columbus asked.

"It was a sunny day in New Orleans also my daughter's 3rd birthday we were doing her cake when we heard the screams from out side as me and John saw people eating people the end of the world had started"she says remembering hereing the blood curdling screams as people eat of human flesh and organs as they scream in agony.

"We boarded up the whole house and any entrance we stayed like that for days but turns out one of the guest had gone out to smoke I guess and gotten bit and that same night everything went to hell I was woken out of a dead sleep by a scream so I grabbed my shot gun and ran into the main room and watch I saw made my blood run cold"she says as tears build in eyes as images of John an infected zombie eating on there 3 year old daughter.

"My husband has got infected and turned into one of those flesh eating zombies as he eat on our 3 year old daughter I then knew I lost my family in one night "she says a tear sliding down her face as an image of Lilly's shredded body organs and bones sticking out as her husband looked at her with his bloody face.

"I had to do the hardest thing ever in my life lucky my daughter went to heaven and was at peace but I had to put what once was my husband down as I shot in dead so yeah I say home which venom cause my home was destroyed" new Orleans says cleaning her face before unbuckling her seatbelt opening the door making Tallahassee step on the brakes.

She gets out the car stumbling to a tree as she leans on it as tears run down her face as she was finally letting herself grieve for her husband and daughter as she sobs into the tree.

Columbus and Tallahassee watch letting her grieve before Tallahassee steps out as he walks over as he pulls her into him as she sobs fighting against him before her legs give out as she leans against him sobbing.
