Gaelson sometimes wishes she could runaway from the royal life and live the rest of her life as a farmer growing the sweetest peaches

But she knew she couldn't do that, she needed to stay here because of her mother and her sister

She wouldn't be able to sleep until she knew they were safe

If only she was an only child and she never had a relationship with her mother, she most definitely leave it all behind

Gaelson wouldn't care if she made her father upset, at the moment she sometimes wishes he could feel all the pain he as put her mother through

Sometimes Gaelson prays to the Gods that he will feel the same pain that he made her mother felt and make him feel it for the rest of his life

"Do you believe I will get a dragon one day?" Gaelson asks her mother who is currently sitting in her bath

"Why do you ask?" Aemma asks confused considering it has never truly bothered her eldest daughter before

Gaelson doesn't answer straight away thinking about what she heard instead

'What kind of Targaryen doesn't have a dragon?'

'I bet it's her mother's Arryn blood, it has dulled her Targaryen blood'

"Darling?" Aemma questions catching Gaelson's attention

"It is nothing mother, it's just something I heard the ladies of the court say" Gaelson says looking down at her hands and playing with her rings

"What have they said" Aemma says suddenly getting defensive of her eldest daughter

"You know I do not blame you for my lack of a dragon" Gaelson says trying to reassure her mother

"Well I would hope not" Aemma says with small smile

"They said it was your Arryn blood that has dulled my Targaryen blood so that is the reason I do not have a dragon" Gaelson says still playing with her rings

"But I do not believe that is possible, besides Rhaenyra has a dragon and she is your daughter too" Gaelson says with a pout on her lips

"I am sure if you asked your father he would let you pick out another egg" Aemma says but that doesn't make Gaelson feel better

"I do not want a hatchling, I want one I can ride and touch the skies with, I-" Gaelson says but cuts herself off with a sniffle

"I wish to be a true Targaryen" Gaelson says with tears in her eyes

"You are a true Targaryen" Aemma says denying her daughter's claims

"What kind of Targaryen doesn't have a dragon?" Gaelson asks herself

Aemma reaches out and grabs her daughter's hand making Gaelson look at her
