When Gaelson was younger she never truly listened to anyone no matter what there status was but when she got older, she learned to hold her hold her tongue and listen to certain people

But after her brother's tourney, she wished she never learned to listen to people

Because maybe she could've talk to her mother one last time

•••

Gaelson is standing in front of her mirror looking at the black dress she's wearing for her mother and brother's funeral

A son that her father pushed her mother to have and when her mother was murder for her brother, her father didn't even bother spending time with the babe, Gaelson was the last thing Baelon saw not Viserys

"It is time, Princess" Alicent says which makes Gaelson look at her

Gaelson looks back herself in the mirror and takes a shuddering breath

Gaelson turns around and walks towards the door and out of it with Alicent following her

•••

Gaelson stares at the the bodies of her mother and brother looking at the wood they sat upon knowing in a few moments her sister will light them a blaze like they never existed at all

Gaelson doesn't know why the thought of her little brother no longer being alive bothered her a lot

It's not her first funeral for her younger siblings but this is only one she got to truly know

Maybe it's the fact that they shared the same eye color, out of her father, her sister and her uncle, her eyes were darker shade of violet and Baelon looked up at her last night, all she saw was her eyes looking back her

Or maybe if her little brother did live, she could've had one last living memory of her mother

She doesn't know

"Dracarys" Rhaenyra says snapping Gaelson out of her mind

Gaelson watches as the flames take over their bodies, the feeling of tears fill her eyes even though none of them fall down her face

•••

Gaelson still hasn't left yet, she is left to stand alone in the field watching the smoke trail off of the burnt corpses of her mother and brother

Hands grabbing her shoulders making her flinch

"It is time to go" Daemon says trying to pull his niece away but she doesn't move

"I do not wish to go" Gaelson says with shudder in her voice

"Your father wishes for you to be inside" Daemon says in a soft voice that Gaelson is not used to being in his tone

"I do not care what that man wishes, he killed my mother for a son that didn't even live through the night" Gaelson says ripping herself from her uncle's grip taking a step forward

Daemon stares at the back of her head watching her shoulders shake from the cries she tries to keep from exiting from her mouth
