"Why is she here?" Paris asks with a confused expression as Rory and her walk into the diner for some chilton paper thing.
I'm really just here because mom sent dad to hang out with lorelai for a day because he has nothing better to do since retiring and it was a great excuse for me to just hang out around the hollow.
"Do I need a reason...?" I say before getting back to drinking tea that Luke had been very happy to see a Gilmore ordering.
I turn back to my homework as I listen to Paris argue with Luke which happens to be extremely entertaining.
"Who's your friend?"
"Angela Lansbury"
"Your the owner here?"Paris asks
"Yep, want some coffee Angela"
"No thanks, so you run the diner. You get a lot of truckers through here"
"Truckers?"
"Yea you know guys on the road for weeks, looking for company, a little pick me up. Things like that"
"What's she talking about" Luke turns to rory.
"Your guess is as good as mine"
"It's pretty common knowledge that diners are breeding grounds for prostitution and drug dealers" Paris says.
"What?" Says a pissed off luke and I have to muffle my laugh in my hand.
"Have you ever seen anything like that going down here?" Paris adds
"Have i ever..?"
"What about that guy over there what's his story" Paris interrupts, pointing at some guy just minding his own business.
"Reverend Nicholas?"
"Reverend Nicholas huh? What is that like, doctor feel good?"
"Rory how much do you like this person"
"Do what you gotta do Luke"
But Paris then sees jess coming downstairs.
"Hey! where did he come from? What's up there? Is that where you keep the girls? You got your self a little cat house up there" Paris accuses and that point I just die laughing, this town is like a soap opera.
"Wow, I think she got you uncle Luke, you better give up now" jess says encouraging the chaos.
"Do not add to this insanity" Luke says with frustration putting his hand up.
"An innocent boy like me should not be raised in an atmosphere like this!" Jess taps his pencil against the table for dramatic effect.
"Jess!" Luke exclaims.
"I want to be good, life's just not letting me" jess says putting his hands up.
"Rory, get her out of here!" Luke demands
"Okay. Let's go" Rory says grabbing Paris's arm.
"Why do you need me to leave! What are you hiding!" Paris yells as Rory drags her out of the diner and I let out a finale snicker as I get back to my math homework.
Not before long jess is leaning on top of my homework, eyes staring into mine.
"Hi"
"Hi"
"Jess get back to work!" Luke yells from the back.
Jess simply rolls his eyes grabbing a cloth and going to clean down some tables.

"Kirk give me cluleless!" I argue with Kirk who seems to work everywhere.
"No ID no over U rated movies, those are the new rules" Kirk says to my annoyance.
Rory told me that she had accidentally caused censorship in stars hollow but why is it this bad! I just wanna rent a movie for us all to watch tonight while eating Chinese food, is that so much to ask!
"Kirk why the heck would I need an ID to rent a pg-13 movie?! I am seventeen years old" I groan honestly so close to just walking out of the store with the vhs.
"You have no way to prove that" Kirk shrugs.
"I left my driving license in my car!" I complain.
"No ID, No movie" Kirk says
"Fine. I hope you have a lovely day, Kirk" I say with sarcasm before leaving the blockbuster but as I'm doing that I bump into someone.
And it's jess, yes! Wait that rhymed.
"Do you have ID?"
And a couple minutes later I am holding a lovely VHS of clueless.
"You know, when you ask someone if they have their id it's not usually for a crappy romcom" jess says after handing me the vhs.
I gasp "clueless is not a 'crappy Romcom' it's the best modern Jane Austen retelling ever made" i correct stubbornly, walking with him to als pancake world where lorelai told me to pick the food up from.
"Well yea, it's better then the rest of the very small insufferable sub genre " jess chuckles and I give him look.
"Oh come on you know you like me" jess rolls his eyes.
"Just because I like you doesn't mean you aren't rude" I say stopping at the door of al's.
"Oh so you admit it, you like me" he teases, causing heat to rise to my cheeks making me start to try to defend myself.
"I didn't mean it like that, I meant it like in a 'I like you' not in a 'I like you' sort of way. And you it's really Impolite to tease a woman. So you know what i think you..." but before I can even finish my sentence, jess's lips are on mine.
That was the last thing I was expecting...
I stand there without moving for a second but soon my eyes flutter closed and my hands move to his shoulders as his hands lay on my back and I lean into this kiss with zero experience.
Soon after, he pulls away leaving me in bits
"Did you just do that shut me up?" I mutter catching my breath. I bring my hand up to my lip and gently bite on my nail.
"No...Well maybe that was half the reason" jess gives a breathy laugh and I just feel a stupid grin on my face.
Someone just kissed me....someone just kissed me! And it was him...
"If I started blabbering again, would you do it a 2nd time?" I ask with a small chuckle.
"You don't even have to start blabbering" jess smirks and we lock lips again.
This guy is gonna be the death of me...
