Conflicting minds

She visited her old friend, Kang.

She waved at him as she enters his palace. He waved back and leaded her to a table. She sat down and talked to him. After minutes of talking, he suddenly looked into her eyes and stayed quiet.

"Why the look, Kang?" She asked slightly tilting her head. Kang said nothing and continued to look into her eyes. "Hello?" She said waving her hand infront of his face. He then leaned back and interlocked his fingers with his.

"You're quiet inside, Fontaine." Kang said while looking at her from head to toe. He then looked back up into her eyes.

She leaned back and took a deep breath. "What?" She asked quietly.

Kang then frowned his eyebrows and slowly lowers his interlocked hands.

Kang was confused as to why Fontaine reacted.
Fontaine was confused as to why Kang said that about her.

Fontaine then looked away from him and looked down, Kang did the same thing.

"He wasn't supposed to know that." Fontaine said in her mind.

"She wasn't supposed to say that."
Kang said in his mind.

They both thought that they were controlling each others minds, turn out they were only playing with each others minds.
