Ghancsia POV

After a few hours of talking with Ababua i looked down at his bruises again.

"Ababua, im still worried about your bruises." I said looking at it. he chuckled and shook his hand. "It's nothing." He said taking a sip from his wine. "It feels like getting bitten by a little girl." He said taking a slice from his steak and eating it. "Harmless." He added while looking up to me.

I stayed quiet and continued eating.

After a few more hours, Tainefon and Jorah finally arrived. I stood up from my seat and waved at them. I glanced at Ababua who was still sitting down. I gestured Tainefon her seat infront of Ababua and Jorah infront of me.

We talked for a bit and complimented her dress, hair, and the shades she was wearing.

I felt something odd seeing her wear a very covered dress. I never seen her wearing these types of dress.

I noticed Jorah looking so serious while looking at Ababua. I looked at Ababua and saw that he was looking at Tainefon. I looked at Tainefon and couldn't see who she was looking at because of her shades.

It was quiet so i decided to break the silence and tried cheering up Jorah by thanking him.

After a few more hours, i heard Ababua asking for the sauce near Tainefon. I looked at her and saw her taking a deep breath. She stayed still which made me confused. I looked at Jorah and noticed his fists clenching.

I can feel the tension between the three of them.

I was about to tell Ababua to get it himself but Jorh then slightly stood from his seat and leaned towarda Tainefon nd picked up the sauce, he then handed it to Ababua and sit back down on his seat.

I looked at Ababua and saw him staring at Jorah. I looked at Tainefon and was starting to get more worried. Am i thinking the right thing about what's happening between them three?

I saw Tainefon's head turn to look at me so i slightly smiled. She then asked me about our marriage and tried answering her but Ababua cut me off.

Few minutes later, i hear a loud thud beside me and saw Ababua looking at Tainefon madly. He told her about being disrespectful infront of the table.

I looked at Tainefon and smiled trying to reassure her. "It's okay but, i also wanna look into your eyes." I said.

She took off her shades and i saw bruises around her eyes. I gasped and asked what hapened.

She told me what happened and it made me more worried.

She mentioned that her bruises felt like getting kicked by a boy so it was nothing to worry.

I remembered what Ababua told me earlier. And i gulped. I then cleared my throat.


I started connecting the dots. Was my assumptions right or is it not?
