Some Major Disappointments

There were some major flaws in the whole storyline that just annoyed me to the core.

The starting episodes focused on Dhara and Gautam, but more than their love, it was always about handling the brothers and the MIL.

The screen space they deserved as the couple and of course, their own kids were never shown. The drama of Chiku ruined the whole concept.

Rishita and Dev were shown till the wedding but after that, the major screen space when to Shiva and Ravi. The problems of love marriage, rich and poor gap could have been highlighted but it was not shown.

Even the whole pregnancy phase was taken by Shweta. Rishita was the most practical character and Raavi was the most dumbest one till the beginning. I hated how she forced Dev in marriage by suicide drama not intending to know his choice and still the fans whitewash her.

Shiva deserves the praise but clearly Ravi doesn't. Shiva and Ravi's story also seemed illogical with major times being taken handling the family. And the most annoying part of everyone jumping in their personal matters.

Ravi and Shiva's marriage sounded absurd at the first place. Shiva's choice wasn't asked and he was told to marry a girl he hated and everyone were praising it. Shiva was the best character but his flaw was never taking stand for himself in front of his family.

And Krish and Kirti could have a beautiful love story but they ruined it just to show Rishita's family bad. Even Shweta was very realistic but they made her a villain and dragged her drama. Her parents were the most hated characters for me and the things she pointed out in Pandya family which they lack seemed very right to me.

Dhara had more right on Chiku than Shweta and that annoyed me because Chiku was never her son. In fact she dragged her whole family in that mess. Krish became the scapegoat and then got pushed away for no fault of his but for just wanting the best for Dhara. Prerna was shown but their love was sidelined to deal with Shweta, the broken family, kids, Dhara's mother and half sister, Shiva's memory loss and Chiku's scenes.

All the three stories that had much more potential were completely ruined. Even the kids of Krish weren't shown. He was the most ignored character in the whole drama.

Suman as a MIL had major flaws but they weren't highlighted.

And then instead of fixing these things, they ended the Pandya family in the most brutal way. I don't know how suddenly an earthquake came and the whole building collapsed. Like couldn't they feel the ground vibrating even a bit?

It was so illogical. It felt like the whole Earth had been pulled apart. I don't know what writers think while writing the scenes.

Moreover, the saddest and annoying thing was Dev died alone and the rest died inside. Like you literally wrote the whole show to show the struggles of a joint family, the significance of the store, but you didn't show that unity in the most emotional moment of fans, when they were dying?

It was only Dev and Rishita who had love marriage and who lived together for so many years and you made them die separately. The song Yaadon Ki Baraat holds so many emotions and it suits only when the whole family is together.

And even the whole journey they showed, it looked so fast forward. Only the dialogues of Gautam and Dhara were shown. As if they were the only ones completing this journey and dying.

What about the others?

And the most angering and heartbreaking part, the one because of whom the whole drama occured, Chiku was taken away from the show for the major part of season two.

And the season two was made highly dumb, that one female show. Just to show struggles of a girl and her life and empowerment. As if the boys didn't loose their parents, as if they weren't orphans.

The show is titled Pandya Store so they should have shown all as leads, love stories of all the kids and their problems and the unity and fights between them.

I liked this show because it was realistic in showing the problems of rich families, politics, middle class people and marriages just it wasn't properly structured in major parts but what they did? They made it the stupid female lead show.

The males were completely ruined off, Chiku who was the eldest and son of Gautam and Dhara, the sole heir of the store was shown no importance and his love story was made a joke, abruptly ending his character. I guess that's why the actor playing the role left the show because they ruined the whole concept.

And why the hell were we focusing on Makwana family? Such a shitty family it was and the whole focus shifted on them. Why not rename the show as Makwana Parivaar?

I believe loyal viewers must have been disappointed at this change from family drama to a stupid love story. Dhawal was the most toxic character ever seen and his whole family was the worst. Nawal may be good as a ship but it didn't fit in the concept of the Pandya Store at all.

I loved this show because it followed what it showed. The struggles of a family, the store issues but season two completely ruined it. I hoped it won't become saas bahu drama but at the end this is what happened.

And they didn't even fixed the problems of Makwana family and Nawal that they separated them again and showed their daughter! Totally nonsense it had become.

I believe this is why it lost TRP and viewers and this is why it ended abruptly.

I will try to fix these major loopholes within this story.

If you need anything else, then do tell.

If any Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali Fans are here, guys my nine year old sister went and clicked a photo with him because she visited Mumbai and she doesn't even realise it.

I was like- DUMBO! IDIOT!

Thank God! It wasn't Mohit Kumar (Shravan Malhotra from Edkv2 otherwise I would have cried buckets)
