A/N: Dear readers, I wanted to let you know that this novel will be wrapping up in the next four parts. I hope you've enjoyed the journey so far!

Amber leaned back in her seat, a tired sigh escaping her lips. "Ugh, don't remind me," she said, rubbing her temples with her fingertips. "I'm just ready for it to be over. My brain feels like it's about to explode from all the studying."

Just two more," I echoed, reaching over to give her knee a gentle squeeze. "And in a week, you'll be free as a bird. No more studying, no more exams."

As I continued to drive, I glanced over at Amber in the passenger seat. Her head was leaned against the window, her eyes gazing out at the scenery passing by. I could see the fatigue etched in her expression, the exhaustion clearly taking its toll. Breaking the silence I suggested, "Let's grab some coffee."

We pulled into the parking lot of a small café on the side of the road. The place had a cozy, inviting atmosphere, with a line of windows letting in natural sunlight and a few tables scattered about. We made our way up to the counter and placed our orders before moving to a secluded spot in the back, where we could enjoy a little privacy and quiet.

I glanced over at Amber as she spoke, her tone approving as she took a sip of her coffee. "It's nice!"

"I know," I replied, taking a sip of my own drink. "They just have a way of making it perfect. I've been coming here for years too, ever since my freshman year."

"These macarons are incredible too," she said, savoring the taste before taking another bite. "It's like my exhaustion is almost gone."

With a sly grin on my face, I leaned in closer, my lips brushing against her ear. "Trust me," I whispered. "I have a few more tricks up my sleeve to help you with that exhaustion."

I placed my arm on her thigh and continued to circle her, caressing the bare skin beneath the hem of her skirt.
My gaze lingered on her legs, taking in the sight of her thick thighs. "Why is this skirt of yours so short. It's turning me on."

Without waiting for an answer, I quickly planted a quick kiss on her lips, capturing her giggle in my mouth. "I don't know, go complain to the headmistress," Amber teased, her voice tinged with playful mockery.
I chuckled, my hand still tracing small circles against her thigh. "Complain? You've got it all wrong, sweetheart." I leaned in, my lips brushing softly against her earlobe as I continued, "I'd much rather thank her for this sexy view. It's one hell of a distraction."

As I tried to kiss her lips again, she reluctantly pulled away. She glanced around the coffee shop, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "Kevin," she said, her voice slightly breathless. "Everyone's looking at us." I then noticed several heads were turned in our direction, creepy glances and knowing smirks from the other patrons.

I reached out to lightly touch her cheek, my fingers gliding over her skin. "They can stare all they want," I said, my voice low. "But I'm the one who gets to look into those gorgeous brown eyes."

Amber's cheeks flushed red as she looked around, embarrassed by all the attention they had drawn. "Enough," she said, her voice just barely above a whisper. "Let's get out of here." She gathered her things and stood up, avoiding the sights of others. grabbing my jacket, I followed her. The two of us left the place, the bell above the door jingling as it closed behind them, shutting off the creepy eyes and chatters.

As Amber stood by the car, waiting for me, she said, "We should head home now. I've an exam to prepare for." Suddenly my phone rang and I pulled it out to see an unknown number flashing on the screen.

It was clearly one of the numbers of that agent. Fuck, why was he calling me right now? Well anyways, I rejected the call and Amber asked with curious eyes, "Who was it?"
