A few days after their date, Pinkie Pie had another special day planned—this time with her sister, Maud Pie. Maud was visiting Ponyville for the weekend, and Pinkie couldn’t wait to spend time with her. Maud might have been different from Pinkie in almost every way, but their bond was as strong as ever.

Rainbow Dash had offered to join them, but Pinkie insisted that it be just her and Maud. “It’s sister time!” Pinkie had said with a bright smile. “We have so much catching up to do!”

That morning, Pinkie met Maud at the train station, where the older mare stood stoically with her pet rock, Boulder, perched on her back. As always, Maud’s expression was unreadable, but Pinkie knew her sister well enough to see the tiny glimmer of excitement in her eyes.

“Maud!” Pinkie squealed, rushing forward to give her sister a hug. “I’m so happy you’re here! We’re going to have the best time ever!”

“Hello, Pinkie,” Maud said in her usual monotone, though her eyes softened as she returned the hug. “I’m looking forward to it.”

They spent the day wandering around Ponyville, visiting all of Pinkie’s favorite spots. First, they stopped by Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie treated Maud to her latest batch of rock candy, specially made with Maud in mind. The candy was crunchy and sweet, just the way Maud liked it.

“It’s very good,” Maud said after trying a piece, her tone as flat as ever. “I can taste the quartz.”

Pinkie beamed, knowing that was high praise coming from Maud. “I’m so glad you like it! I made it with extra love and a sprinkle of sedimentary sweetness!”

Next, they visited the Ponyville quarry, where Maud spent some time examining the rocks and pointing out interesting formations to Pinkie. Although Pinkie didn’t understand half of the geological terms Maud used, she loved listening to her sister talk about something she was so passionate about.

As they walked, Pinkie chattered away about everything that had been happening in Ponyville, from Twilight’s latest magical experiment to Rarity’s new fashion line. But eventually, the conversation turned to something more personal.

“So, Maud,” Pinkie said, bouncing along beside her sister, “there’s something I wanted to tell you… something important.”

Maud glanced at her, her expression unchanged but her tone slightly more curious. “What is it, Pinkie?”

Pinkie took a deep breath, feeling a rare moment of nervousness. “Well, I have a girlfriend now. It’s Rainbow Dash! Isn’t that exciting?”

For a moment, Maud was silent, her gaze steady as she processed the information. Then, she gave a small nod. “That’s nice. Rainbow Dash is a good pony. I’m happy for you, Pinkie.”

Pinkie’s heart swelled with joy at her sister’s approval. “Thanks, Maud! She makes me really happy, and we have so much fun together. I just wanted you to know because you’re super important to me.”

Maud’s eyes softened again, and she gave Pinkie a rare, gentle smile. “You’re important to me too, Pinkie. As long as you’re happy, I’m happy.”

Pinkie’s smile grew even wider, and she threw her hooves around Maud in another hug. “Aww, Maud! You’re the best sister ever! I love you so much!”

“I love you too, Pinkie,” Maud replied, her voice as calm as ever, but her words filled with sincerity.

The rest of the day was spent in quiet companionship, with Pinkie and Maud enjoying each other’s company in their own unique way. As the sun began to set, they returned to Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie whipped up a quick batch of cupcakes for them to share.

As they sat together, munching on the cupcakes in comfortable silence, Pinkie couldn’t help but feel grateful. She had a wonderful sister, a loving girlfriend, and a life full of laughter and joy. No matter what the future held, she knew she would always have the support of those who mattered most.

And that, she thought, was the sweetest feeling in the world.
