My name is " Annabeth Hales" well the "Hales" just came in yesterday cos not too long ago I was "Annabeth Lopez", an orphan on the streets of Alderwood.
My mom died in an accident four years ago when I was fourteen and I've been living on the streets since then, until one Jackson Hales guy popped up claiming to be my father with a freaking DNA test as proof and it didn't seem forged.
To be honest I knew I had a father, and I knew who he was, only his name to be precise, but I had gotten so used to my mom lying about it that I hardly even thought of it.
My friends were livid. One because he's the richest man in our town and another cos it's been years since my mom died, but I agreed to leave with him cos I had a feeling a whole lot of adventures were awaiting me, and I'm starting to wonder how interesting MY NEW FAMILY is gonna be ...........
