Books

Reading is my comfort zone
It helped me to feel not so alone
when my reality was clouded by darkness and hope seemed far away.

My books were always there to keep me safe.
They helped me to escape my miserable reality and
live in a world without stress and hate.

My friends call me a bookworm, a nerd , a geek , a freak.
They say reading is boring and that I'm missing out on fun
But what they don't know is that every page I've ever read knows something about me
that I'll never reveal to the outside world.
Every ink stain and every chapter was there for me when they weren't.

When family and friends were far
Books helped me to keep a steady heart.

Books are my solace.
My safe space.
They're mycomfort zone
And with them , I know I'll never be alone.
