small greyish organic being that can link to its host hence the name (about the size of a mimic from Prey 2017). they look like an organic gooey mass with tentacles (A mix of venom symbiotes and mimics from prey). They can reanimate corpses but not repair them without other Linx's present to fill the role of the missing body part. Depending on the severity of the corpse's damage and how fresh it is, some Linx can gain higher intelligence gathered from its host. If a living host has one attached it will slowly consume them, but if fought off the living host still has to deal with an infection made by the Linx which can kill them and in rare cases convert them.
