Being a self-taught young artist, you sometimes have to get a little creative.

I almost never had the correct supplies nor the patience to do irl painting. That's why I prefer digital art!

For example, I use watercolours -like a lot- instead of other paint.

They're more accessible, easier to use and mix.

I painted this a few months ago- it didn't take long and I think that it turned out okay (?)

Sketching. Nowadays, it is most likely for me to use a ballpoint pen- preferably black- to sketch but blue is fine.

I never quite took sketching seriously, so most of my sketches look a bit rushed, but in my opinion, that's just a part of the charm.

Looking back at this- the fingers look a bit funky

These are some VERY early and REALLY quickly drawn concepts for a different place in my book series (Yes, it's a series). 

The guy with the headset is a favourite of mine I can't wait to introduce in the next book- if I get that far in the first place.
