My journey started with realisim and sight painting. I used to draw that one sunset over the beach with the palm trees over and over again.
I tried realistic portraits with pencil and they went well enough but I soon realised they weren't what I wanted to do.
I continued trying to do realism on digital art- that didn't go very well... I'd rather not show you- those drawings keep me up at night.
My only advice to finding your style is to try everything. Most often, something you make won't seem good to you because it may not be your style.
Also: your style might change over time. And change is good most of the time! So embrace it!

Ro - (Frawner) ^I tried my best for the Frawner, since I don't draw animals that often. But hey, I think I did a fairly good job combining the characteristics of a cat and a dog.

I was originally only going to draw the previous too, so this was a bit rushed (Sorry!).
Fun fact: I made this while walking/running to catch my flight!
