TW: mentioning of injuries and abuse
The pain in Sun's head was killing him as he was sitting in the car next to his father. Just as Diao had said, his father was more than angry when Sun finally came back home after the day he had spent with Top. The beating he had gotten this time was even worse than the others he had gotten before. He was lucky that he was still able to walk and move, not without pain of course, but still. His whole body was aching, with every move he made, but that was no excuse for his father to skip work. Sun had to go to work, there was nothing to discuss about that, in his father's eyes, but he had to promise not to pull down the facemask and keep the hood of his sweater on his head. No one should see the mess his father did to Sun's face.
Sun fixed the facemask, pulled the hood of his pullover deeper in his face, and took his backpack before leaving the car. He was drunk, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to even endure the painful ride in the car and the cloud in his head numbed his body and made him feel like he was trapped in a dream, a nightmare to be exact, still better than facing reality. Sun honestly doubted that he would've survived this day, if his father knew about him being drunk, it was his luck that the other didn't catch the faint scent of whiskey on his Son.
As he entered his workplace, he heard music playing from the practice room. Sun would rather lay in bed, with a bottle of vodka and some video games, than be at work in his current condition. His heartbeat increased as he approached the door to the practice room. He wasn't really fond of the idea that he would have to explain the whole situation to Lune, he just wanted to vanish in this moment.
As Sun opened the door, Lune immediately turned around and looked at him with a bright smile.
"Oh, there you are."
"Obviously," Sun mumbled.
"We have a special practice today. These are the clothes you have to wear for that." Lune pointed at a pile of neatly folded clothes, lying on the floor next to him.
"I don't want to." Sun hissed and sat down. He regretted sitting down immediately, the pain he had in his back was immense.
Lune crossed his arms and looked skeptically at the other.
"If you don't do it I will tell the boss about it. Do you want that to happen?"
"No..." Sun mumbled. He stood up and stumbled to the pile of clothes. His head was spinning and the alcohol in his blood didn't make that situation better at all. He made his way to the bathroom, to change into the clothes Lune had given him. Maybe the other would have mercy on him and send him home.
The mirrors reflected every detail of his body, every single bruise, every single wound. He didn't really see one bit of his normal skin tone on his face.
"What a piece of shit you are Sun Suddapet Thepnakorn...only allowed to use the surname Suwannarat because of the grace of Diaos mother." He hissed, seeing his reflection. Everyone would see what a weak human he was. The clothes didn't cover any of the bruises on his arms. Sun grinned.
"You are trash." He said to his mirror self. His reflection stared back at him, one eye bruised and swollen, his lips full of blood and little wounds. He had a little cut under his left eye, he looked terrible.
"Just how I feel." He mumbled to himself. With a last look in the mirror, he put the facemask back on and made sure his hair was covering his eyes.
After a deep breath, he went back to the practice room.Lune knew that Sun would feel uncomfortable wearing the clothes he picked. But it was the only way to confirm his theory. Lune heard steps behind him and turned around, his eyes immediately widening in shock as his eyes met the figure in front of him. He had expected to see the other with bruises on his body, but never, not in his wildest dreams he could've imagined the picture which presented itself to him in that moment. Sun was in pain, and Lune noticed that by the way the younger moved.
"Sun...," whispered Lune, still nearly speechless at the sight. "I'm so sorry but could you please take off the mask? It's just...it's not allowed in here." Lune said softly and tried to hide that his voice was shaking.
"Not allowed huh?" Sun said, moving slowly towards Lune, whose heart started racing as Sun stopped just inches from him.
"Y-Yes. and you know that," Lune stuttered, trying to not lower his gaze.
"Is that what you wanted to see?" Suns voice was raspy and cold as ice, as he took off his mask.
The older gulped and looked at Sun with shock. "Is it ?"
"What...what happened?" Lune managed to ask, his voice was shaking and so did his entire body.
"Nothing." Suns voice was so cold and deep it gave Lune chills all over his body. An unpleasant silence fell over the two young men before Lune finally gained his voice back.
"Sun....that doesn't look like...nothing." He said carefully and with a concerned tone to his voice.
"Oh really?" Sun laughed sarcastically. "It's nothing to me, so why does it matter to you?"
