"Shit!" I gasp, desperately trying to wriggle out from beneath Draco whose hand is still in my underwear, fingers still inside me. "SHIT! You need to get out of here."

"What?!" Draco splutters, finally removing his hand.

"Mum! Where are you?!"

I jump off the bed in a panic, desperately trying to button my jeans back up. Draco remains on the bed, his hair tousled, and shirt rumpled from our frenzied encounter.

"Hide! Quick!" I hiss, grabbing his arm and pulling him up to his feet.

"Where the fuck am I supposed to hide?"

"I don't know," I say, looking around. Damn those anti-Apparation charms people install in their homes. "Under the bed!"

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"

"MUM?!"

"No, hide!"

I turn away from him towards the mirror to quickly run my fingers through my hair, making sure my makeup isn't too smudged.

Suddenly, the bedroom door flings open, and in comes my red haired daughter.

"Mum? What are you doing in here in the middle of the day?"

I glance guiltily towards the bed, breathing in relief when there is no sign of Draco. However, the sheets are all crumpled.

"Just taking a nap." I lie. "Aunt Gina's cake is exhausting me."

"Oh." She looks away, and I can see something is on her mind. Something troubling her.

"Mimi, what is it?"

"Fucking Dad," she said her voice breaking as she starts to cry. "He just told me he and Fleur are having a baby."

I instantly engulf her in my arms and feel relief when she hugs me back.

"Is it that bad?" I ask quietly, stroking my hand through her hair. "You'll be a big sister."

"I don't want a brother or sister!" she cries, sounding suddenly younger than her fifteen years. "He was supposed to get back with you. This was just a blip in your marriage!"

"Mimi, that was never going to happen." I say, hyper aware of the boy hiding under my bed and feeling sick with guilt.

"You should have tried harder to win him back, Mum."

Closing my eyes, I hold my daughter tighter to me, my heart breaking. "I'm sorry, Mimi. I didn't know you felt that way. I thought you were happy for your dad."

"I went along with it because I didn't want to drive him away completely!"

"Come on," I say, desperately wanting to get her out of the bedroom, away from Draco. "Let's go and make a hot chocolate."

She nods her head and sobs.

I lead her into the kitchen trying to calm my pounding heart as I busy myself making hot chocolates.

"Did you have someone over for lunch?"

"No, darling. Just me."

"So why are there two plates of unfinished sandwiches?"

Shit.

"Oh, yes, I forgot. Dennis came back for a bite."

"You forgot? Mum, how bad is your memory?"

"Look, about your father," I say, hurriedly moving over to the table to clear up mine and Draco's lunch things. "I think you should give this new baby a chance."
