The mood was a bit more somber as Anntonia prepared to leave for Thailand. She had a rehearsal for the Miss Universe Thailand pageant and needed to be there early to prepare. Michelle, still in bed watched with a heavy heart as Anntonia packed her bags.

“I can’t believe you’re leaving already baby” Michelle said, her voice tinged with sadness. “It feels like we just got back from out trip”

Anntonia glanced at her, smiling softly. “I know, love. But I have to be there for the rehearsals and preparations. It’s important.”

Michelle sat up, her eyes pleading. “Can’t you just stay a little longer? ”

Anntonia sighed and walked over to sit beside Michelle on the bed. “Michelle, I wish I could, you know that but this is something I can’t skip. The coronation is only five days away, and I need to be there for all the final preparations.”

Michelle looked down, her eyes filling with tears. “I was hoping to come with you, but I have a shoot scheduled. I was even thinking of ditching it, but—”

Anntonia placed a gentle hand on Michelle’s cheek. “I appreciate that so much baby, but you have your work too. I wouldn’t want you to sacrifice your career for me. We both have responsibilities.”

Michelle shook her head. “But it’s going to be so hard being apart. I’m going to miss you so much.”

Anntonia hugged her tightly and laugh “you're being a baby again! it's only 5 days and I’m going to miss you too, more than you can imagine. But we both need to focus on our commitments. The good news is, the coronation is only five days away. You can come to Thailand right before the event.”

Michelle’s eyes brightened slightly. “So, you’re saying I can see you just before the big night?”

“Yes,” Anntonia said, her voice filled with reassurance. “We’ll be together soon. I promise.”

Michelle nodded smiling. “Okay, I’ll make sure to finish my shoot and be there. I want to be there for you, especially for such an important event.”

Anntonia smiled, her heart warming at Michelle’s dedication. “Thank you love. I’m so lucky to have you. And I’ll be counting down the days until we’re together again.”

As they finished packing and preparing for Anntonia’s departure, Rhian and Max joined them to say their goodbyes. The atmosphere was filled with mixed emotions as they shared hugs and well-wishes.

Rhian gave Anntonia a tight hug. “Good luck with the rehearsals. We’ll be cheering for you.”

Max added, “And don’t worry, Michelle. We’ll keep you company until you can join her.”

Michelle managed a small smile. “more like annoy me!" then they all laughed.

Anntonia took one last look around before heading to the airport. She turned to Michelle, who was still watching her with a mix of sadness and pride.

“I’ll call you as soon as I arrive,” Anntonia promised.

“I’ll be waiting,” Michelle said, pulling her into one final embrace. “Safe travels, my love.”

Anntonia left, Michelle felt a pang of emptiness but also a sense of anticipation. The days leading up to the coronation would be busy with her work, but the thought of being reunited with Anntonia soon kept her going.

As the sun began to set over Thailand, Michelle dialed Anntonia’s number once more, eager to see her before another rehearsal. The call connected, and Anntonia’s familiar face appeared on the screen, though she was now in her rehearsal outfit a sleek, elegant dress that showcased her poise and grace.
