A DEMON POSSESSING THE TRUCK DRIVER stepped out of the vehicle, his movements slow and deliberate as he stalked toward the Impala. A twisted smirk crept across his face when he saw John and Dean slumped over, unconscious.
Sam was just starting to wake up, his eyelids heavy as he fought to open them. His vision was fuzzy at first, but it gradually sharpened, revealing a figure approaching the car. Instinct kicked in, and he quietly reached for the Colt.
The demon drew closer, his hands gripping the car door with inhuman strength as he yanked it clean off Baby. He paused, taken aback when he saw the Colt aimed right at him.
"Back. Or I'll kill you, I swear to God," Sam growled, his voice thick with anger.
The demon's eyes turned pitch black as he sneered, "You won't. You're saving that bullet for someone else."
Sam raised his eyebrows, cocking the gun and shoving it closer to the demon's face. "You wanna bet?" Blood was dripping down Sam's face, making him look weak, but his promise had been made clear.
For a moment, the demon smiled, then it suddenly abandoned the man's body, a cloud of black smoke pouring out. The truck driver collapsed to the ground, dazed and confused, his eyes darting between the three men inside the car he'd crashed into. "Oh my God!"
