Chapter 11 - Y/N

--- 8 days later ---

I sit, holding Teddy's hand as we both look at the stars from the astronomy tower. I place my other hand in my hoodie pocket, checking that I had put the test in there. "Swap!" I say to him, a smile forming on his face. He knows exactly what I want.
    I quickly take his hoodie off, before handing it to him, and instead taking the one he is wearing right now. Part of the reason we do it, is so that we have each other's scent on the hoodie, but it's also because I love all of his hoodies, and if I could I would take them all.
We sit for a while before I turn to him. "Oh, is my lip gloss in your hoodie pocket, I think I left it there?" I ask, knowing that it isn't but the test is there instead. I watch as he puts his hand in his pocket before taking the test out, and looking at it.
    He looks at me.
    And then at the test.
    I can see tears forming in his eyes, and almost immediately later, he turn to me, and wraps his arms around my waist, his head buried in my hair. I hold his head, playing with his fluffy hair, his strong cologne, perfect.
     "I am so, so, so happy!" he says, pulling away so that he can kiss me. His lips are soft to the touch and his breath is minty. He trails the kisses down my neck before looking at me again. "Who knows?" he asks, almost presuming that I have told my friends, especially when we tell each other everything.
    "Just me and you, baby. Just me and you." I say, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. After a while we stand up, before walking  back through the castle hand in hand, whispering to each other. When we arrive at the portrait, I place a kiss on his lips before saying the passkey.
    Even though it is late, the friend group is still sat on the sofas, messing around putting spells on random objects in the room. Me and Teddy sit down with them, me sat on his lap, like normal.
  

We mess around for a while, before me and Teddy decide to go to bed. We say goodnight to everyone, before heading to my dorm room instead of his, like we used to. "Because no one knows yet, can we sleep in my dorm?" I say to him, closing the door behind us both and he nods his head, following me into my dorm.

   "That's fine, when do you want to tell our friends?" He asks me, and I think about it for a while. Then the idea comes to mind, and I know that it will be the perfect time to tell them.
    "I'll tell them tomorrow at breakfast, but I'll also tell them that it has to be kept a secret, and that nobody can find out." I reply, getting into my bed, lying down on my side next to Teddy. He wraps his arms around my waist, resting one hand on my hip and the other on my stomach.

--- The next day ---

 When I wake up, Teddy is still asleep and I head into the bathroom, where I get dressed and wash my face. When I go back into the main part of the dorm room, I see that Teddy has woken up and is dressed, my friends still asleep. 
    He stands up, and comes and places a kiss on my lips, his hands resting on my hips. "When is the baby due then, doll?" He asks.
    "Well, since I haven't been to a doctor yet, we can't know for certain, but I'm guessing some time in April, maybe earlier." I say to him, and he nods his head, before placing a couple of kisses on my neck. That's when it hits me. Me and Teddy can't have sex for another 9 months. I think he realizes as well, because a small smile appears on his face, before he whispers to me.
    "Well that's a bit unfortunate." He says and I roll my eyes laughing, before we both head out of the dorm room and out into the main castle where we wander around for a while, past all of the classrooms and to the Great Hall where students are already starting to file in for breakfast. Me and Teddy sit down at our normal seat, before our friends join us not too long later.
    Dumbledore does his morning speech, before the food appears magically on the tables, and we all dig in. I pick up a cinnamon bun, before placing another one down on the table. I can see on Matteo's face that he is confused - especially since I used to eat as little as possible.
    I shrug my shoulders, "I'm eating for two." I say casually, looking back down at my plate to try and hide the smile which is plastered on my face. 
    "Wait, what?" Matteo asks, and the other boys look my way, clearly understanding what I meant. I nod my head, and in response, I get a hug from each of them, and Teddy gets a clap on his back. They all chorus congratulations, though they don't say anything too loudly, already knowing that I am going to keep it a secret from the rest of the school for as long as possible.
    I catch the eyes of the group of girls who bullied me after Christmas, and I give them a death stare, and I can see that Teddy has spotted them. He holds up his middle finger, and the girls look away, scared almost. "Thank you." I say to him, grateful for what he just did.
    "Always, cara mia." He says, his left hand on my thigh.

After breakfast, I say goodbye to Teddy, before me and Daphne head down to Madam Pomphrey to tell her that I'm pregnant and will need checking out, and to let the teacher's know. When we arrive she immediately sees us and asks what's wrong.
    I check the room, making sure it is empty before saying, "I'm pregnant. I want to keep it a secret from all of the students, so can you let the teachers know." I say, and I watch as a shocked expression spreads across her face.
   "Oh my goodness! Yes of course. Sit down at the back of the room, y/n, I'll be with you in a minute. Daphne go and sit with her." Madam Pomphrey says before disappearing out of the room. 
    It doesn't take her long,  and when she comes back, she closes the curtain around us, and pulls out her wand. She immediately casts a spell, before she lifts my shirt up and shines the weird light onto my stomach. On the screen next to me, I can see the teeny tiny figure which is mine and Teddy's baby, and for a second I forget how to breathe. I feel Daphne squeeze my hand, and without realizing it, a tear slides down my cheek.
   "I would say you are around 6 weeks pregnant. So if it is the middle of July now, you will have fallen pregnant around the start of June. So the babies due date is going to be 12th of March." Madam Pomphrey says. 
    "Thank you." I say to her, and she disappears out of the curtain and I turn to face Daphne. "That was unreal. I can't believe that it mine and Theo's baby." I say to her and she nods her head.
    "How come you wanted me to be here instead of Theo?" She asks, and I reply immediately.
    "Since you have been best friends with me for so long, I wanted you to be able to come along and see the baby. Theo was the one who had the idea for it." I reply, remembering how Theo had said about Daphne coming with me for the first appointment and that he would be there for every single one after it. 
    I cover my stomach up, before getting out of the bed and heading over to the check out list, where I write my name, but instead of writing the reason I was there, I put private, not wanting anyone to see why I was here.
    As we walk to our class, I have my hand on my stomach, holding the baby which is part me and part Theo. The perfect mix.

OOH! Sorry for the long chapter, I knew I couldn't split this into two, so I just left it as one single chapter! I hope you like how the story is going. There are going to be lots of sections around her pregnancy and what happens to Theo and y/n after the baby is born, so the story isn't close to ending!
