Chapter seven

-LEXI'S P.O.V-
I've been in this basement for 10 fucking years....I'm now 14 years old. The only person I would kill to see right now is....My dad, Matthew. I bet he already gave up on me. They feed me everyday breakfast, lunch, dinner but the only reason they feed me is to keep me alive. The beat me once a week but there not that bad I'm kinda used to it by now I mean I'm surprised I'm still alive. They told me that they just brought me here so that when I get older they won't get arrested for what they used to do...They did/sold illegal drugs I didn't know when I was little but now I know an they don't want to get arrested. I honestly would rather be dead then tied to a bed in a basement...But I notice there is a knife on the table that they usually cut me with but I moved my arm around and I got it free I got the knife and started cutting the rope. I cut all the rope! I run out the basement and with my luck the door is locked...Great. Oh there is a window I get a brick that was in the corner and break the window. I crawl out and start Running to the house... IM FUCKING FINALLY FREE!!! I was running then all these questions started popping into my head like

What if they don't like me anymore?
Will the recognize me?
What if Matt hates me?
what is they moved?!?
What if they don't want me anymore?
what is they take me back to the orphanage?!?

while I was think of all these questions I bump into someone
"I'm so sorry I wasn't laying attention" I say
"It's fine are you okay?" he ask me while helping me up "Yeah I'm fine are you?"
"Yeah" I look into his eyes I got lost in them there so blue...I noticed I was staring and got nervous
"Well I got to go" I say
"Wait can I have your number?"
he said...I don't have a phone I've been gone for 10 years...What do I say!!?
"Umm give me yours and I'll call you when I get home." I say
"Okay here you go he says giving me a piece of paper "K well byee air I didn't catch you name." I say "Hayes. you?" he says "Lexi. See you soon" I said running
