The soft cries of a girl could be heard through the room of 𝘚𝘵. 𝘔𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰'𝘴 𝘏𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘞𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴. The healers rushed out while a tall man with jet black hair who had been standing out the door not-so-patiently, rushed inside the ward, without sparing a glance at them or paying a heed at what they wanted to say. He couldn't have waited any longer than he had already. He looked ahead to see the love of his life holding a small child wrapped in a clean, white towel. "It's a girl, Sirius. Just like you wanted," spoke her in a very frail and small voice.

Sirius Black walked closer to the bed, to the little girl in his woman's arms. The woman, just like Sirius himself, seemed to be the happiest person alive at the moment. It could be seen in their smile, in their tearful eyes how they practically beamed at each other from so much happiness. "She's beautiful, Emily. She's beautiful just like you"

"She got both of our features, doesn't she?"

"Yes, Em. She does," star-struck, he didn't need to speak any further. The girl was as if Sirius Black and Emily Mist-Black had been molded into one. The small girl had dirty, blonde hair, having taken black from her father and pure blonde from her mother. The eye-color was a perfect chocolate-brown, taken black from Sirius, while the brown hue from her mother's hazel eyes. She was a perfect blend of the two. A beautiful one at that.

Sirius picked up the small girl in his arms. For centuries his ancestors named their kids after stars and constellations for the sole purpose of tradition. He had always deemed as that tradition to be lame and useless, all until he set his eyes on his daughter. Sirius needn't a tradition to see the stars, hell, he saw an entire galaxy his little girl held in her eyes. Emily slowly handed Sirius the girl. "Hey, love," he said in a small voice. As if the smallest of things would break the small kid that snuggled in his arms.

Emily just smiled. Sirius looked at the small girl the same way he only ever looked at Emily. "I thought you said you will never fall in love again, Ri," said her, chuckling.

Wonderstruck, he could not stop staring at the small girl who seemed to stare at him back with her big eyes, "I think that's a promise I had already broken in a heartbeat"

Emily chuckled at his words. Lily Potter entered the room followed by James Potter and Remus Lupin. However, Sirius made no actual attempt to acknowledge their presence. Peter Pettigrew, another one of their friend group, which they liked to call as 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴, had called in busy which rose a few eyebrows but they shrugged it off as they knew Peter was their friend and so had their trust.

"Hi! We came as soon as we heard," said Lily while panting between words as if she had ran a mile. It must have been however because she was herself in her ninth month, the bump very obvious.
